Something wrong with your listing?
Tell us and we will fix it. There is no charge, nothing to sign up for, and no upsell at the end of it.
What we can change straight away
- A wrong phone number, website, address or trading name.
- A listing that duplicates another one of yours.
- A business that has closed, or that never did residential moving.
- A statement attributed to your website that you no longer make, or that was picked up from somewhere else on the page.
- A quotation that has been cut in a way that changes what the reviewer meant.
Send the listing URL and what is wrong to support@movercompass.com. If you are writing on behalf of the business, say so — we do not need proof for a factual correction, but we will not action a removal request without it.
What we cannot change
We cannot remove or alter a review, and we cannot change your rating breakdown. Neither belongs to us. Reviews are published on Google by the people who wrote them, and the star counts are Google’s own figures. If a review breaks Google’s policies — it is fake, it is about a different business, or it contains abuse — the route is to report it to Google. Once Google removes it, it disappears from your listing here at the next rebuild, usually within a week or two.
We also will not remove an accurate listing simply because the numbers are unflattering. The share of one and two star ratings is arithmetic on figures Google publishes to anyone who looks at your profile.
If you think something here is defamatory
Write to support@movercompass.com setting out the specific sentence or figure and why it is wrong. Identify the exact text — “the whole page” is not something we can act on. We will look at it properly and respond. Where a claim is credible we will take the material down while we check it, rather than after.
Replying to reviews
The most useful thing you can do for your listing here costs nothing: reply to your reviews on Google. We show owner replies directly underneath the complaint they answer, so a company that engages with criticism reads very differently on this site from one that ignores it. Roughly six in ten of the reviews we hold already carry a reply, and the ones that do not stand out.
What we will never do
- Charge you to correct, improve, suppress or remove anything.
- Offer a paid placement, a badge, or a better position in a list.
- Sell your contact details, or pass enquiries to a lead broker.
- Contact you to sell you something off the back of a bad listing.
