What this site is

MoverCompass is an information service. It compiles publicly available information about moving companies and presents it with the arithmetic set out on how we read reviews. It is not advice, and it is not a recommendation to use or avoid any business.

Accuracy

The information here comes from third parties — principally Google business listings and the businesses’ own websites — and is reproduced in good faith. Business details change, source data contains errors, and our own processing is described honestly including where it is weak. We do not warrant that any listing is complete, current or free of error, and you should verify anything that matters to you directly with the company and with the relevant regulator before you make a decision.

Reviews and company statements

Review text is the opinion of the person who wrote it, published by them on a public platform, and reproduced here with their display name shortened. It is not our statement and does not represent our view of any business. Where a company has replied, the reply is shown with it.

Statements attributed to a company’s own website — including any claim to be licensed, bonded or insured, and any operating number — are that company’s claims about itself. We do not verify them and nothing on this site should be read as confirmation that they are true.

No liability for your decisions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoverCompass is provided as it stands, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from a decision you make using it or from your dealings with any business listed. Your contract for a move is with the mover, not with us.

Using our content

You are welcome to link to any page here. You may not scrape, copy or republish the site or substantial parts of it, including bulk extraction of listings, without written permission. Underlying facts belong to their sources; the compilation, arrangement and analysis are ours.

Corrections and complaints

Businesses can correct listings free of charge, and the process — including how we handle a claim that something here is defamatory — is set out on the page for movers. Anything else goes to support@movercompass.com.
