Avoid This Moving Company at All Costs We hired this moving company for our recent move, and the experience was nothing short of terrible. Planning: The communication during the planning phase was extremely poor. The phone quote we initially received was different from the written quote, and they made several changes to the arrival times and the insurance coverage that was supposed to be included. This lack of clarity made the entire process confusing and frustrating.
I had a terrible experience with C&C Movers and would strongly advise anyone looking for a professional moving team to look elsewhere. I hired them for a full-service, all-in job - including packing, disassembling, loading, unloading, and reassembling furniture - with payments upfront on the day of the move. Instead of a professional service, they showed up completely unprepared, uncoordinated, and lacking basic equipment. They did not bring enough boxes or packing tape.
We had a local appliance delivery by C & C Movers back in February. The delivery was easy due to our unit was not ready for the fridge & range, they placed them in a storage room in our Apt building. We knew the doors of the fridge would need to be removed when they came back to move them into our unit a few weeks later. We paid them to come back and move them into place and wr also tip them big.

Kyle and his crew are consummate professionals - until they aren't. I had C&C move our home in Dec 2020 and they were great. No complaints. So as one does, I started recommending them to my friends & clients (I have a contracting business). A client asked me for movers, and C&C was there with bells on to do a move-in for a client we just finished a reno for. My client then asked them to hang some of their pictures, a service I could not recommend from them as I did not use them for that. She went ahead anyway.

My family recently moved to Bowmanville. It was a somewhat complicated move, 2 houses moving into 1. Between the 2 of us, we have moved a LOT, so we knew that hiring a competent professional mover was essential. We had a previous positive experience with a small furniture delivery with this company - C and C Movers. We met with the owner, Kyle Clarke, he gave us a quote and we paid a deposit for both homes. This is the second move I hired Kyle and his team for. They are amazing to work with. The team was efficient and friendly and did an amazing job with my move. Wow. They were amazing. My boyfriend and I were moving into our first place and what would’ve taken us probably weeks they did in just a short few hours. Everyone was so kind and helpful.
