4 of the 27 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Carlsbad Square Moving are one or two star.
Worked out from 27 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

Terrible experience. 2.5 hours late. Sent Russian speaking movers. I had to point and walk with them the whole time as the didn’t understand “kitchen” even. They had to keep moving things bc of this. They couldn’t understand the labels took double the time to do everything. Took one box at a time on the dolly-no joke! Gouged the driveway as they struggled to park the truck. Took double the amount of time quoted. Never again!!!
Used this company to move in May. Over $800 worth of brand new power tools were stolen during the move. Contacted the company and I was informed that 2 of the 3 movers were temporary employees and had since been fired. Company refuses to reimburse the cost of the tools. Very unprofessional and disappointing to trust your belongings with a company only to have your items stolen.
I just spent the night sleeping on my floor and will now have to sleep on the floor indefinitely because these movers completely ruined our king mattress. It looks like an elephant stomped all over four huge depressions and a cross where the frame is - making it impossible to sleep in any direction of the bed. Trying to sleep in one of the four huge depressions they left was so painful I was crying at 1 am until I gave up and moved to the floor. I'm devastated!
Time Bandits This company bill me for 5.75 hrs to move 1 bedroom: 13 boxes ( pre packed/staged) , 1 queen bed/frame, TV (packed) / TV stand, 1 loveseat, 1 dresser and …

In their own words
Our moving plan with another company went awry. Carlsbad Square Moving came to the rescue on the very next day. We had a four-man team with Diego in the lead. We were very impressed with how professional and efficient this team was. No fussing about, if something was to be moved they picked they just did it, if it need to be disassembled, they were right on it . This was a big job, too, nearly ten hours from start to end. The team worked studiously for the entire time.
Now that I found Carlsbad Moving Square, I won’t use any other moving company. I highly recommend. 100%. Booking was seamless and Allen was friendly. Nick and Sergy were my movers. They were on time, organized, fast, efficient, friendly …
"Their customer service and communication level were beyond my expectations. Reasonable packages and outstanding service! Highly recommended."
Carlsbad Square Movers moved us recently. Just a two mile move from one residence to another. They notified us of their arrival ahead of time, took great care in protecting our furniture, loaded it efficiently and were easy to work with. The hardest part was getting their truck up a steep driveway with a 270 degree turn. Eventually they were able to make it even though a few sprinklers were broken in the process (which is the only reason for a 4-star rating v 5).
