I recently hired a team of 3 movers from LA Moving star for my relocation, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Firstly, I noticed $100 missing from my bag after the move, which raises concerns about the team's integrity. Moreover, the lack of proper care during the move resulted in significant damages. They did not use enough wrapping and blankets, leading to scratches on my expensive vase and a substantial scratch on my leather bed.
Don't be fooled by this company. We were exchanging questions and answers about their quote when they asked me for a deposit of $1000. I replied by saying we had a quote, not a contract. I asked them for proof of insurance and licenses. Nothing. I saw that a few ppl posted that they were surprised when a sub-contracted moving company, not LA Moving, showed up without notice. I asked if this would occur? Suddenly, they informed me they had no availability.
Your movers parked in an alley for a move and blocked 3-4 parking spots. When asked if they could move their ramp briefly so I could get into my parking spot, one mover rudely said “what you can’t drive?” Incredibly unprofessional attitude. Unfortunately, there's no company at this address. Neighbors said they've worked nearby for over ten years and haven't seen such a company there, otherwise they would have known for sure.
Tried to get a quote and the moving star refused confirm the appointment unless i told tell them a specific weight of a sewing machine or they might charge an extra $90? pathetic
These people are horrible! They hit my car with their moving truck and drove off! I have it all on camera! They refused to work with my adjuster now I have the police involved!

Max, Slava and Mahar were wonderful! They were right on time and did such a great job of moving everything. They were really quick and handled everything carefully, and handled some issues with parking spots really well. LA Moving Star gave me the best quote out of maybe 5 or 6 places I called and I thought they were great value.
Nobody has better prices and efficient services than LA moving star. Andrew and Tim were friendly, quick, and handled all my items with care and as if their own. They were punctual and communicated well. If you want an easy and smooth moving experience choose them!

Great movers. We were moving out of our 1 bedroom apartment in Culver City to Costa Mesa. In terms of booking, they have a client portal that makes tracking everything a breeze. Max, Maxar, and Slava were really careful with our belongings and brought a truck that had plenty of space for everything. They even helped dismount my Tonal home gym, which a lot of other movers either a) refused to do for liability or b) would only do it after racking on more costs.

I hired LA Moving Star again and they did not disappoint. Mike and Tim was able to help me finish packing loose items. And safely transport my belongings. Communication was great and so was their organization. I also love that they bring wardrobe boxes so you don’t have to touch hanging clothes. They are my preferred movers and they also give returning customers discounts. I would also like to note that I had a last minute move scheduled and they were able to accommodate my move within 3 days of my request!
