Monster Movers we’re hired to move us to a different state. 1. Many valuables were broken or damaged; 2. Have of the clothing did not arrive; 3. We were given a piano which was never ours; and, 4. They were rude and disrespectful!!!

I scheduled these movers weeks in advance. And they did not show up. Once I finally got them to answer the phone they had the wrong date booked. They said they would try to find movers for the correct date but never called me back. They also stopped answering the phone when I tried to call to resolve this issue.

If you want someone hired from Craig's List at your door the next day saying he was never paid for moving you, than use this company. Worst experience of my moving life. They do not stand by what they say with their hassle free, no surprise charges! I was double and triple charged for movers that took way too much time, injured themselves, damaged my walls and overcharged me for their unprofessionalism, to later have one of the movers at my front door saying he was never paid and ghosted!

Terrible company. The final charge was almost double the initial quote. While the actual movers were good, I can't recommend a company that tries to bait and switch their customers on pricing. Was led to believe that the price would be about $450 and ended up getting charged $735 for a 3 hr move with 2 guys.

We are still in the midst of attempting to find my parents furniture. In March, the HB team moved items from my mother’s house into storage to wait for a Texas delivery. They estimated 2-3 weeks which continued to get pushed more and more because “no trucks are going to Texas.” I’ve made this move twice and can attest it has never been an issue getting items to Dallas. It has now been FIVE months with little to no communication. We even asked for information on where items were being stored with no real answers.

The set-up seemed too good to be true, and it was. I paid to have my items picked up, put into a moving pod, stored, and then relocated to my new home when I returned to California after I went back to Michigan to care for my mother who passed away. My items got picked up in a rush as the staff stated they had tried to call and I didn't answer, which was untrue.

Worst moving experience of my entire life and I have moved plenty. Some details from our experience: - We booked a 4 man move but only 3 showed up, more than an hour late. - They had no tools so I had to lend them my own tools to take things apart or I had to take it apart myself. - A move that should have taken only 1 day took 2 full days because they were so disorganized. This ended up costing us an additional $1400 for a second day. - The first day the movers didn’t bring any drinks for themselves.

I had used Monster Movers in the past and had a good experience, which is what made this time that much worse. I was confident and trusted them, and in the end was screwed over. I had scheduled an afternoon move and received through email simply "yes, confirmed." My move day came and 11am rolled around with no word. At 11:30 I called to request an estimated arrival time, understanding that the time could vary widely, but knew they are required to give you an update.
