PLEASE, PLEASE , PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE MOVERS!!! I HAD THIS SO CALLED MOVING COMPANY DAMAGE MY STEPS TO MY BASEMENT AND DAMAGE MY FLOORING DOWNSTAIRS. NO RESPONSE FOR A MONTH. HAD TO OPEN UP A HOME INSURANCE CLAIM BECAUSE NO RESPONSE. MY INSURANCE COMPANY TRIED CALLING MR MOVER TO TELL THEM THEY WILL BE SUED AND NO RESPONSE. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. SHAME ON THEM! AND NO NEED TO RESPOND NICK, YOU WERENT EVEN INVOLVED. YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT YOU DID SO NO EXCUSES.
We hired them to move a piano. I think if we hadn't prepaid they wouldn't have moved it. We sent pictures and informed them of the size of it and pictures of the location it was taken out of and put into. They sent two guys for a piano, two. One was old and overweight. Getting it out wasn't difficult but it took them 2 hours to get it in with lots of swearing. They almost hit the neighbors car with the truck. They had time to call for additional help but didn't.
Marta, It's difficult to respond to your many strangely negative comments. You hired us to move a piano, it was difficult, we moved it, and you paid us for that service for the price we quoted. You would think that would be all there is to it.
Everyone really recommend Mr. Mover. For our personal experience, they showed up late and left over 4 car loads of stuff at our house. They took apart the beds but did not reassemble them correctly. We were disappointed after hearing such great things.
I just moved into my new house and the previous owner didnt get a fridge out. Instead he scheduled Mr. Mover to remove it after I closed on the house. As I didnt have any other options I let them in to take it. First one of the movers proceeded to start casing the place, asking questions about the size, looking around, and then when he saw we didnt have anything moved in yet he had the audacity to suggest taking the one item we had which was a plate of cookies.
This review has several slanderous/false statements in it. No one "cased" your home, I'm not sure how you would even come to that conclusion. Our movers always make sure they have observed everything there is to be moved ahead of time, and which entry and exit points they will use for each item…
I feel like this company cares about money over its customers. We originally scheduled our move for Thursday, but due to the unexpected wildfire smoke from Canada, we had to reschedule to the following Monday because our 4-month-old daughter had recently undergone lung surgery and couldn’t safely be exposed to the smoke while doors were constantly opening during the move.

Be aware of Mr Mover's estimate and pricing strategy! They base their "guaranteed" estimate on the inventory list provided by the customer. Everything sounds good until they arrive on the designated moving day. In my case there were 3 people: the older boss and 2 amateur teenagers. The boss reviewed the inventory list and reached the unfortunate conclusion that the inventory we provided did not exactly match reality: 1) there was one extra floor rug (true); one of the two listed file cabinets is a lateral file…
These guys did a terrible job. New owner is really dropping the ball. Hired them to do an easy move. My apartment, no stairs, straight out the garage to a drive up storage unit and they still damaged my leather sofa and wooden dresser. Don't expect to be reimbursed for the items. The most they'll offer is to 'patch' things up....... very rude and unconcerned with damages to your furniture. These guys are unbelievable.
Wendy, we communicated with you at length regarding your scuffed sofa and dresser leg chipping. At no point were we dismissive or rude to you. You simply didn't receive a free move, profit from your own move, or get what you wanted through extortion.
I have used Mr. Mover in the past and was referred to them by my realtor so felt confident that they would do a good job. I used them recently for (2) moves and was, to say the least shocked when I was presented with a bill at the end of the move, for double what they originally quoted me. No one advised me at any time that I would be incurring additional costs. Buyer beware of price gouging!!! Will never use this moving company again.

We used Mr. Mover for a local move and could not have been happier. Right from the first call they were responsive and professional. I really liked being able to get an estimate by filling out a form online and not dealing with any pushy sales people. The crew showed up on time and were very careful and efficient. They all had a great attitude and even made helpful suggestions when placing furniture etc. I would absolutely use the again.

BEST MOVER EVER - BAR NONE - We have used Mr. Mover at least 10-12 times (no not in witness protection) over a 15 year period - they are simply the best - courteous, good value, hard-working and reliable. If you move locally in MKE or in-state, you are crazy not to give them a shot at your business. And even if they are 10-20% higher, it is SO WORTH the peace of mind - use them!

Fantastic Experience!!! It was important to me to find a local business to move my house. I called about 2+ months prior to moving out of our 2700 sq.ft. home in the Falls. Melissa, Andy and Luke were awesome in their communication as we kept each other posted on dates, "stuff" to move and the overall plan; including a secondary stop for a storage unit. We checked in a couple days prior to the move and verified all details.

We needed to move only .8 miles away, and we were moving a 4,500 square foot home including outdoor furniture. After researching and getting quotes from 5 different moving companies, Mr. Mover was recommended by a friend. They were so prompt with calls and emails, and their online quote system was very straightforward.
