Horrible experience. Inefficiency and unprofessional in every step. They charged us way more than the qoute with subpar job. Run away as fast as you can. Its not a wrong company. I am posting about power moves MKE. and about chris.
This looks as if you are affiliated with the other wrong review. Wrong company.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE communication. After multiple calls, voicemails, and emails just to get a quote, I got one callback from a CHRIS over a week later leaving me a voicemail and the chase of trying to contact this company started all over again. A friend that used them got involved for me and reach out to them through Facebook, and they started communicating with her about me, still took them days to call me. FINALLY CHRIS calls me back, and offers no apology or anything.
We apologize for your experience. Often times we stress communicating during business hours to get a timely response and leaving detailed messages. Our main goal is to always serve every customer that comes our way. Unfortunately with availability and staff shortages that isn’t always the case.
This move took MUCH longer than it should have, so in turn I paid wayyy too much! Because they were moving slow. Only 1 of the movers were moving my stuff. The other mover basically stood on his phone the whole time. My friend had to help him uwrap plastic, move the head board, TV! And dresser. all though he didn't ask for it. What was the other mover here for?? To try to speed the process up. And the 1 that did 90% of the work looked like he was about to pass out. This move took 5 hours!!
Sorry things took longer than you expected. Some of your furniture had to be removed from a balcony and our number one priority is to make sure your furniture isn’t damaged or our guys aren’t injured.
They were flexible with the date which I appreciated and responsive. Team arrived 45 minutes past their arrival window, the movers left stuff when they were unsupervised, had navigation challenges getting to Chicago, were reluctant to go the extra mile and they refused to go back and clean up the stuff they left. Had a good first experience 1.5 years ago and mediocre second experience.

I called three moving companies and they were either unavailable or extremely pricey. I called power moves and they were so professional and answer every question and concerns I had. I was assured the job would be done and done correctly. They kept all communication open. I was called the morning off to know they were on the way, they arrived early. They came with their own tools and was prepared to move my things. They were quick and polite.
Eric and Chris were phenomenal. They were timely, efficient, personable, and very reasonably priced. I've used movers a couple of times in the past and had my stuff damaged. Not this time! All our belongings arrived intact. No hidden costs and no delays to make more money. These gentleman had hustle but were still careful about not banging the walls and doors. They didn't just pick a room and dump our stuff, they asked great questions and got our stuff where it needed to be.
Gotta tell you, Power Moves MKE are good folks! I had an atrocious experience with a third Party booking company. They made many promises and then messed the whole transaction up. When I asked what time to expect the movers, I was told that we would need to be home all day and they could not commit to a start time! Who does business that way? Embarrassing! I contacted the booking company and spoke to a very nice women named Rita. She helped me cancel the reservation and refunded my money!
My family and I just relocated out of state (across many states). We had a mover planned out for the last 8 months and 6 days before our move the mover stopped communicating. Let me tell you about Power Moves Mke. I inboxed them and within 15 mins I had response, within 30-45 mins a phone call to set up a visit to quote me on what I had. So within 2 hours of contacting them Chris and Eric arrived to access my items at my house. This was literally 4 days before my move date.
