Run. Don't walk. Platinum Movers is the kind of company that reminds you why people dread moving. They showed up two hours late without so much as an apology. The crew? Rough around the edges and couldn’t be bothered to crack a smile. But the real gut punch came at the end—after walking through our entire home and giving us a firm quote, they decided to double the price on the day of the move. No shame. No explanation. Just a wildly inflated bill and a take-it-or-leave-it attitude.
Honestly one of the worst days of my life. Avoid at all costs. Was super unprofessional and the crew was very young and inexperienced. Got in several weird arguments and the guy threatened to walk off the job more than once. Check out the thread about them in the Santa Barbara subreddit.
Movers were very slow, took smoke breaks, had to go get gas, all while on the clock and charged me for that time. Damaged my $3500 couch and owner was very dismissive on the damage. He even said he would come over the next day to see what …
I‘ve packed up all my stuff, but the original 3-hour work took me double the time. Not to mention they were 6 hours late. It’s wasting your time and money if you pick them

I cannot say enough nice things about Platinum Movers. I've never used movers before, so I was incredibly nervous, especially considering some reviews I've read. I am also broke and panicking about money. Robert was the only person at a moving company I talked to that completely understood my need to compromise in favor of minimizing time. On the day of the move, Fric, Joe, and Gabe were right on time and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Eric and Taylor did a phenomenal job from start to finish. Everything they did (communication, timeliness, fast pace-move, extra help on top of it. Highly recommend. Robert (owner) was great as well. He drove by our property and provided a bid within an hour of my initial call.
