Their unprofessional actions resulted in the destruction of several thousand dollars of our belongings, and they refuse to own up to their mistakes. This was the second time we used this mover and they moved the same items both times. We were very happy with them the first time we moved, so we hired them again. What a mistake we made!
Some of my jewelry and a Fit bit came up “missing” after these guys moved me from one apartment to another. I was pregnant when this happened as well. I knew I should have put my jewelry in my car instead. Lesson learned. Trust no one!

As facebook reminded me, it is 2 weeks and no response to the form request for a quote/contact. Now is moving weekend and I feel lost. Everyone recommended only this mover for senior situation.

Called for a price quote. The guy said there all booked, then asked how much stuff I had then hung up on me! Awesome customer service...
As a person on the phones here for over 25 years, I would have to say that the line would have been disconnected, as we do NOT handle our customers in that manner !! I am sorry that you did not get your questions answered, We certainly would not be asking how much you had to move just to hang up on…

We had a wonderful moving experience with Priestley and Sons. Everyone we worked with, from our initial contact to when the moving truck left our new home, was friendly and knowledgable. The moving estimate was spot on and there were no hidden or unexpected charges. Our movers, Marty and Chris, arrived right on time and started loading the truck immediately. They both were highly skilled, hard working, and fast!
Priestley and Sons is BY FAR the best packing and moving company I’ve ever used, and I have moved cross country multiple times. The expertise in packing china, glassware, serving dishes and other breakables especially stands-out - Arthur is a master at this! Too many times I’ve had broken items, but not this time. Plus both Mathew and Arthur labeled boxes in ways that makes sense, and allows you to prioritize which boxes to unpack first.
Easy and friendly response from scheduler, movers and owners. Well-stored furniture for 6 months. Responsive to any issues that arose. Great people to work with!
Overall a pretty good moving experience for 1.5 truckloads locally. Two of three movers were quite good - lead mover included. One younger mover was a bit put out by his job and unapologetically dropped and tumbled at least a dozen boxes, while catching a real attitude when asked not to keep leaving muddy footprints on brand new carpeting. Fortunately the mud came out and we didn't let them move the fragile stuff - key takeaway.
