If I can give this company a negative star rating I would... Kids were nice but did not follow instructions... Also, many items were damage. I had a whole trailer to use in which boxes could have neatly fit... Very disappointed and a claim will follow.
We have no record of any move under your name. That’s not a picture of the inside of our truck either as we use moving blankets. Please remove this review as it’s clearly not accurate.
I am normally not someone who likes to bash on a company, but seriously would not suggest using this company. I called the company to move my house within Huntington Beach. Informed the company that I was not in a rush but would like to get next available. The representative (seemingly very professional in the beginning) stated she would call around to see what she can do. Finds a couple of movers and states they can come to my location the same day.
I booked RentBoxMove containers through the sister site of Student Movers 10/31. I received the below order confirmation which indicated I’d be contacted. I called three times and left messages requesting a call back so I could understand logistics. I am moving from Huntington Beach to San Diego, within their service area. I wanted to understand how I should communicate dates and getting the containers a week before my move.
I had a fairly odd request of The Student Movers. I had an oversized chair with a built in bed that I needed moved from the ground floor into an upstairs rooms. This item is pretty heavy and awkward item to move, so I reached out to various companies knowing I would spend a good amount to move one item. I was okay with this, but underwhelmed by what seemed like a simple request. I appreciate that they called first and were timely, but it seems as if the team didn't really have much experience.
We have shared your feedback with the crew. As for the tools we typically dont provide those for labor only small item moves. However, our moving trucks all have tools. If we would’ve known you needed tools to move your items we would’ve been happy to accommodate your request.

We hired Student Movers to move my mother from our home, to a residence. As she was already stressed by the change, we needed this to go as smoothly as possible. They showed up early, which was awesome. Guys were polite, friendly, professional and very well-organized. They got to work immediately, moving quickly, but, carefully. Not an item was scratched, lost, forgotten, or damaged. When it was time to pay, we were charged exactly as detailed in the agreement. GREAT JOB!
Shawn and the whole Student Movers team were absolutely amazing. The price was fair, the movers were skilled and prepared and with a nice attitude, and best of all there were no hidden payments. They were very clear on pricing and there were absolutely no issues in adding or removing some stuff to and from the list. Not a single thing was damaged or out of place. Needless to say, if I ever move again, I will be contacting these guys for sure.
Student Movers is awesome! These professional movers were the best I've ever seen. They have great customer service and an easy to use website. We had a move from Orange to Huntington Beach. The movers showed up onto me and ready to move. The truck had a nice Student Movers logo on it, and it turns out they'd moved several people we knew in the community. Fast, friendly and professional was the type of move we experienced. The movers were local college students who had a knack for moving.
