Overall good experience. Very efficient movers but felt like they lost a bit of care once unloading at the destination. They walked on brand new rugs and carpet with dirty shoes when we called ahead to make sure they’d put something down. I had to vacuum and scrub the dirt off the carpet afterwards. They also left a few things they packaged wrapped in the packing tape with pieces throughout the house I had to clean up.
I am physically handicapped. I hired Up/Down Moving & Logistics in late January 2026 because they were local and knew the local area. I selected them because of their Google rating and I was not disappointed with my selection. They were FABULOUS!!! They packed me on February 12th & 13th. The packing crew of ladies were incredibly great and wonderful. They were skilled, professional, efficient and knew what needed to be done. I never could have done what they did for me.
Up/Down Moving and logistics impressed me right from the start. Julia informed me on our initial phone conversation a few key items to be aware of when shopping movers. 1. no tax on moving as it's a service don't let others tell you different. 2. Up/Down is a flat rate mover, meaning they inventory your items and are able to provide a quote based on items and cubic square feet. My two other moving quotes provided a range to move for example $2,700-5,600 to move.
