In their own words
Had them move our furniture into a storage unit. We discovered they had broke our $800 TV. They refused to claim responsibility, give us a refund or replace the TV.
Very poor and trying experience. I moved half of my things myself and I have herniated discs in my back. Truck was not big enough and things were left behind. No compensation for dropping and cracking my TV. Do not use this moving company. I cannot think of anything positive to say. Very stressful.
Although they were quick to respond and efficient, their efficiency caused them to damage almost every piece of big furniture and there were holes left in walls. Would not recommend.

In their own words
I can’t say enough good things about Abates Moving Services LLC. From start to finish, they made what could have been a stressful day feel completely manageable. The office staff was responsive and easy to communicate with, answering all my questions ahead of time and giving me clear expectations. On moving day, the crew arrived right on time, fully prepared, and ready to get to work.
Thank you for your wonderful review, Eric! We're thrilled to hear that our team could make your moving experience so smooth and stress-free. It's great to know that our staff's communication, professionalism, and care for your belongings met your expectations.
I could not be more pleased with the service. We were moving my daughter from Green Bank to Pittsburgh. I was able to get a very reasonable price over the phone by just describing the size of her current apartment and giving a list of the furniture to be moved. The price did not change. The movers were prompt and quick. They were careful with the antique furniture including a marble (an easily-broken material) topped coffee table and a Queen Anne loveseat from my grandmother.
Thank you!
Anthony and his crew were AMAZING! They loaded up two trucks (over a 2,000 sq ft house and super heady tools from a garage) in 3 hours! They took such care in wrapping, loading, and unloading everything. Anthony went above and beyond at accommodating us! We were limited on our time to move my parents, so I called on Tuesday and asked if they could come a day earlier. He was booked for that day but responded shortly that he had an idea. He got a second truck for Thursday, and they filled them both so quickly!
Thank you for leaving a review. We appreciate you trusting us with your belongings .
Highly Recommend!! We hired Abate Moving service to move 2 big gun safes, huge leather sectional, real wood king bedroom and dining room furniture (all very heavy), freezer and other household items, along with lots of boxes we packed ourselves…from Morgantown, WV to Myrtle Beach, SC - about nine hours away. Everything arrived perfectly! Not a dent or a scratch on anything! The furniture was not only wrapped in blankets but also shrink wrapped in plastic.
Wow, thank you so much for this incredibly detailed and thoughtful review! It truly means the world to us. A Morgantown to Myrtle Beach move with two heavy gun safes, a full bedroom set, sectional, and everything in between that's no small undertaking, and we're so glad everything arrived without a…
