Most unprofessional moving company they told me one thing and did another. Many broken items lots of broken furniture. I'm still missing many items of value its like my belongings were looked through and stolen. I have yet to hear from anyone in a leadership role. This is criminal in my opinion. I was assured that all of my belongings would be on one truck and the sales person laughed that the other quotes said they would use two trucks and they didn't get my belongings here in the 1st truck and the 2nd truck…
North American. What I liked, were the workers. That's it! Alot of money. For me to pack up just about everything ($21,000+). Give the driver an extra day for the holiday. Knowing that the driver needs to drive, ya would think to check his rig, right? The driver arrived another day late, then the fun starts; the driver calls and outlines a start time.
Lost boxes, broken items, incomplete move. They took two weeks to uncrate fragile items and left a mess of broken wood with nails and splinters in the garage, all material they were supposed to haul away - this has been a terrible experience. They were incredibly diligent in charging me for the move, but extremely difficult to get ahold of since. Look elsewhere and spare yourself the pain.
BUYER BEWARE! Don’t use this moving company to move your items. This experience with the exception of a few people was horrible. The person who came to move our items was rude, her name was Juwana she drank out of my husbands honeymoon cup …
Prior to hiring, sales pitch was - this is the delivery window, but I’m very confident that the delivery will Occur in the early part of the window, not towards the end of the window. I realize this is not guaranteed…but why even say it? …

Do not use this business! I had an ok experience with the handling of my goods however, one of the helpers robbed me for $1000.00. This is under investigation now and hopefully they fire this person. I plan on pressing grand theft …
Scam of a company. They sell you insurance that DOES NOT cover any of damage they cause to your items. Avoid at all costs.

It all started with Jerry Durham, who was very professional, thorough, responsive, and friendly. We needed to move our mother's furniture & belongings from Oregon to Ventura and Jerry arranged it. He walked us through the estimate to make sure we understood all the costs, insurance options, etc. We noticed some negative reviews from customers who were surprised at final costs, and can't help but wonder if they didn't take the time to ask questions and understand the process up front.
The movers were great. On time. Careful with my antiques. Worked fast. Highly recommend them!
From the beginning to the end, my experience with Alex Movers was nothing short of exceptional. As I prepared to move the equivalent of a one-bedroom condo, I couldn't help but feel a bit anxious about the safety for some of my exquisite furniture.
