Long review, unprofessional if they damage anything you own. At first, they were super friendly and helpful. Came to our house to do a walk through of what we had and gave us a quote of around 6 hours to move us to our new home. They ended up taking 3x that long, so obviously, the price was more than quoted. On top of that, they broke our tv that was pretty much the same price we paid them to move us. We took photos and sent them to the owner.
I highly discourage anyone from using this company. They did not show up, ghosted us completely the day of the move. Joshua preached about his word and integrity, stating that is why he does not do contracts or deposits. While in reality, it frees them from liability. They were very communicative leading up to the move date. I called and spoke to Joshua on a Wednesday and he confirmed for Saturday at 1:00pm. Patrick called the next day to confirm details.
You had called and told us wanted only labor and wanted a lower rate ? Then had husband call and try to book . We said we were booked by then . We strive to do the best we can . But we did not have you down since we had two different calls … More
Very disappointed that I feel the need to leave this review. I gave Joshua multiple chances to assist us with a move that we had scheduled for over one month. I asked about documentation regarding insurance coverage and was sent an expired document. I asked for an updated one and was never provided the document, nor was I informed that they were not going to provide the document.
Sir we sent you both documents of insurance . Each time you asked we responded . Quite honestly the way you talk down to people is why we avoided this move sir . You were quite rude to my wife about the quote I was only trying to be kind . This review proves you are an angry man
I called a couple of movers on a Tuesday when I was closing the following Monday. The entire premise of my call was essentially "I'm not sure if I can get something last minute before Monday" and really suspected most places to be booked. …

Dear Family, It breaks my heart that it comes to this. We spoke to your wife recently about the check we sent out, and how we were sorry for the damage to the TV. As for the time for your move, we quoted based on the prospect of a fully packed and ready to load home, which is what was agreed upon.

Josh and Jake were a two men crew who were absolutely outstanding! Our family of six moved and they handled everything with care and did it in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills and customer service all around. Punctual on day of move and used time efficiently, which helped our budget.

Joshua and his team were great! They moved me out of my house and into a new one in less than 2 hours. They were expedient and professional. Around the Bend is also local and lot more affordable than some of the larger companies like College Hunks. I would use Around the Bend again and would recommend them.

Around the Bend movers did a phenomenal job moving my 77 year old mother. They were polite, efficient, took care of all of her antiques, and moved her in 90 plus degree heat!! They even were able to accommodate her request and moved her a day early. We will recommend them to all friends and family!
