I was given a quote but ended up being charged over 1.5x the given quote which was extremely frustrating considering I was not able to be present when they came to move everything and had my roommate let them in. I was charged for an additional 2 hours after everything was loaded into the truck despite being told that I would only be charged an additional 1 hour when I asked for a quote which would account for the drive and unloading everything from the truck back into the storage.
Beware! Drivers are incompetent and cannot guage whether thier truck can safely manuever on the property. Company was aware that the truck hit and pulled down a comcast cable wire but did not inform the homeowner (confirmed by an employee via a next morning phone call to them). Also did not caution off the area so that any other truck that came by (Fed Ex, Postal Service etc...) would hit the same wire and possibly bring down other electrical wires.

Pablo and Edgar were great! I highly recommend Bay Area Moving. Good communication throughout the process, accommodated my schedule, and arrived on time. They took extra care wrapping my furniture and protecting surfaces, going above my expectations to keep everything, including the doorways, clean and damage-free. I’m so happy we chose this company, and would choose them again.
My movers Edgar, Will, Jeffrey, and Pablo went above and beyond. They were very careful, efficient, and polite. I’ve moved multiple times and was blown away by how good Bay Area Moving and Storage is. Plus the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend them. Thank you!
The crew was right on time and assess the most efficient way to move my stuff. They loaded it all in record time. At the delivery site,they unloaded, unpacked, reassembled and then carried off the trash efficiently. I would highly recommend this service to my various circle of friends.
