DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! Unprofessional in many ways. They do not communicate anything to you. I had to call about everything, and then be told they didn’t know any information and would need to get back to me. I had to initiate communication almost every single time. My belongings were also late, and when they finally arrived they were damaged. Most importantly, my infants crib was not cared for at all. It’s scraped and dug into all over. Screws are missing. Mind you this was my only piece of real furniture.

I chose Berger Moving based on the Coordinator's indication that it was affiliated with Allied Van Lines. Unfortunately, this decision proved to be a significant mistake and resulted in a highly unsatisfactory experience. The reasons are as follows: The employees lacked professionalism and did not treat customers with respect. There was no disclosure that third-party movers would be involved in the process. Rates were increased at the last minute without prior notice.

Don’t use this company. I scheduled a move from Illinois to Missouri. Colleen came and did a walk through, Marie had called me multiple times so I assumed they would communicate to the crew. On the day of the move, the driver pulled down the overhead electric line to my neighbors house when backing up the truck. This triggered police, fire department and ComEd to respond. Delayed my move for 2 hours.

I would have left 0 stars! I ordered a custom lift chair from Rock Wish Relaxation for $3600.00 and also purchased the white glove delivery for $275.00 WHAT A JOKE! Two guys show up and one doesn’t even speak English and the other barely speaks English and didn’t understand much either! They brought the chair in to set up and neither had a clue how to connect the several cables or how to run them so they don’t get pinched or damaged!

I moved from California to Chicago! Worst decision to use them. The loading in California was really good with experienced movers. Got to chicago and delivery was horrible. Inexperienced movers. Missing parts and my kids bed frame missing most of the screws for the bed. Dents and scratches all over my new home. Customer service also lacking. I spoke to Marie multiple times and she seems she is always lost. I had to be on top of her for pick up date, delivery date etc etc. only calls I would get is for payment!

I had an issue with Berger Allied regarding a move. The issue was resolved in an expedient and highly professional manner. I was amazed at the level of service and attention to detail by the moving team and representative of the company. Management went above and beyond with taking care of the issue. Hats off to Berger Allied. I could not recommend them highly enough!

This warehouse is not in a sequential order. I arrived earlier than others, but they left earlier than me. I need to wait for several hours to unload the goods. The service attitude was average. When I asked how long I would have to wait for the unloading to be completed, he said that there were only two of them and they would have to unload the goods

Whatever you do in life, never use Berger Allied Moving and Storage for your moving needs. They initially quote a very low price, but at the last minute, they significantly increase the cost. Furthermore, consider yourself lucky if you receive even 50% of your belongings.
