My cousin hired these guys for us, the deal was they'll come to our house and pack as much as they could in 3 hours, for $735. Three men showed up at 1015 am, Steve was in charge, they did a decent job at packing so not much to complain there. However they were short on boxes, and once I brought the issue to Steve that it was told to us by him that boxes and supplies etc they would bring and all we would need to do is simply stay clear, he gave a very rude and obnoxious response that "they brought 50 boxes and…
We sold our home in Feb 2024, and my brother and SIL knew the owners and recommended the company. Also several co-workers said to use them. We had an 1100 square foot house and were moving into a storage unit, in the same town less than a mile away, as the housing market is/was horrible. It took the entire day to put everything from the home inti the unit. The owner Gary from the start was excellent in contacting us and advising on storage places and the size the of unit necessary for our home.
I do appreciate you acknowledging that Gary and the crew were excellent and that you felt communication was great, the men were very hard-working and that you received a fair price. Thank you so much for that! I am however, a little … More
In 2021 we had an amazing moving experience with Big G and his crew. I was so impressed by them that I called them again to arrange for loading as we were relocating out of state. Sadly, I cannot say the same for crew that was assigned to us this time. They were careless, they claimed they were unable to fit things in the truck due to lack of space only later to find out, that when our unloading company came... they found the truck to be loaded poorly and even asked if this was a professional moving company.
I apologize, your move was over a month ago so we needed to go back to our records to review the details. We received a message from you and returned your call within 15 minutes (according to our time stamped logs). Gary left a message but … More
Recently used these guys for a move. Gary was assigned with the movers 4 guys total, the guys were great and polite, however Gary tried to nickel and dime us, demanding the drivers be tipped, very unprofessional, its like dealing with a beggar. I would never recommend, pay your employees a better wage so they dont have to beg for a big tip we already dished out over $1000 for the move and then this guy demanding a big tip claiming that $50 isn't enough.
Thank you so much for acknowledging that the guys were great and polite, we sincerely appreciate that! Gary is the owner and does not even accept tips. He is very rarely on moves and when he has the privilege to be it is strictly as an … More
A scammer, you scheduled a time and a price they come to you with bigger price and request 100$ tip for each person and increase the estimate price you agreed about on the moving day give you no chance to find a replacement company, just fishyyyyy mafia business
I’m really sorry to hear that this was your experience, but thankfully for us you are describing the wrong company! This is definitely not the way we operate or do business ever (as you can clearly see detailed in the hundreds of five star … More

I recently used G Movers(!) for my move, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, the A+ team of Steve, Tyler, Cory, and Fulvio went above and beyond to make what is usually a stressful day feel smooth, organized, and surprisingly easy. Steve led the crew with professionalism and great communication the entire time.
Amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to detail your experience with our company! We sincerely appreciate you and wish you the very best!
This wasn’t our first move with Big G, and once again, they exceeded our expectations! From the very beginning, Gary was incredibly accommodating and patient. We had several closing dates rescheduled, and he stuck with us through all the changes and made sure we got on the schedule when everything was finally finalized. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive on moving day.
Thank you so much! We are so happy that everything worked out perfectly for you! We sincerely appreciate your loyalty to our company and we wish you the very best in your beautiful new home!
Had a really excellent and smooth move with Big G Movers! I'm also all for supporting local! Communication, quoting, and setting up the confirmation for the move was very efficient and easy -- absolutely a fan of the messaging and quick and helpful responses from Traci! Moving day was great as the crew showed up on time, did the job efficiently and as instructed despite being a little warm! They included the wardrobe boxes which was very helpful and wrapped everything up to protect while moving.
Awesome Kevin! We sincerely appreciate you! It was an absolute pleasure working with you as well and we wish you the very best in your beautiful new home!
We moved from NJ to NC. These guys were incredible! They wrapped our furniture carefully. When we arrived at the new house, they worked well as a team and were willing to move everything around if we decided we wanted the furniture in a different spot. They were polite and willing to help us with whatever we needed. The best part, the guys who packed us up were the same ones delivering the furniture to the new address. No waiting, no different crew. I would recommend Big G Movers for all your moving needs.
Thank you so much Jayne! It was an absolute pleasure working with you as well. Sincerely wishing you the very best in your beautiful new home!
