Bison Moving Tulsa

My experience with this company was very negative. I had for the most part gone over everything to be moved. They had started and were only 15 to 30 minutes in when they complained that they were dizzy and couldn't work in these conditions due to something in my master bedroom. I personally had been in and out of the room several times packing things up that morning and wasn't affected by their claims. I understand that it wasn't exactly clean but nothing that would be detrimental to anyone.

I hired Bison for a 2-hour job to start at 11:00 AM with a 15-minute window for delay. We had Bison hired for a certain job. They were not at our location at the time of the schedule time and had not called us, so I called. They were still at another job and the location was twenty-five minutes away from our location. We had no choice but to stop what our job was to start doing their job. When they finally arrived, they worked for one hour to finish what was left of their job.

I must say, I was very disappointed yesterday with the drop-off of my furniture. Most of everything went ok, however when they were moving my $600 office desk, they tried to put it on its side and severely damaged one of the legs. The desk was 100% undamaged when they picked it up. My sister-in-law was in another room and heard a loud crack.... It should have been VERY obvious that it was damaged. When I discovered the broken leg, they were still unloading the truck.

I don't know where all of these good reviews came from... I'd echo Shyla's review from a month ago, nice people who appeared to work hard, and we tipped well. But our belongings were damaged due to carelessness. Our TVs weren't wrapped with the blankets we provided. Instead, the screens were placed directly against wood beams, we're lucky we caught it before they arrived broken or scratched. Our living room table was left unprotected and is now visibly scratched.

An absolute nightmare of an experience! First of all, they couldn't get their scheduling right, showed up after 9:00am, but still said they started at 9am on the bill. I called the week prior and they were about to schedule me for Wednesday, but apparently didn't have till Thursday, which was the last day I had to get out of my 2 bedroom duplex. I was downsizing so I was moving into a two bedroom apartment which was a lot smaller. I sold a ton of furniture and got rid of a lot of stuff.

This was not the smoothest moving experience. My move had to be delayed due to an issue on the company’s end and they were late on the day of service. The first 15 minutes of the visit was spent going over documents that could have been completed ahead of time. They estimated that the entire process should take no more than 2 hours, but they took 2 hours to retrieve my items from the first location. This caused the second part of the move to be rushed and I had to advocate for the assembly piece of my move.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with Bison was extremely frustrating and disappointing. First, they failed to provide the second truck that we had discussed upfront and were counting on. This left us scrambling at the last minute to rent our own U-Haul just to get everything moved. It added unexpected stress, time, and cost on what was already a hectic moving day. Then, when our items were delivered, several pieces of furniture were heavily damaged.

I moved from a one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment and it took two movers 4 hours. I had very little furniture and just bags instead of boxes The move cost me over $600. Two men moved me and literally only one man was moving me. The other man literally did nothing except load bagsThe move took them so long and I was getting highly frustrated with them being so slow. They were getting paid by the hour. I felt like my move should’ve cost me between $350 and $400. I ended up spending a lot more.
