I called First Choice to receive a quote. I liked the quote and set a move-out date. I called twice before moving day to confirm time and to make sure no one needed to come check out what was being moved. Both times the date and time were confirmed and both times they declined to come look prior basing the quote solely off square footage. When moving day came, many comments were made about how much stuff we had and they didn't think they would be able to move it all.
Don't be fooled by any good reviews. We had a TERRIBLE moving experience with First Choice Relocation. Warning, this review may be a little long. (A) We were scheduled as the first move of the day, and were told to expect the movers between 8:30 and 9:00 am for a job that should take about 4-5 hours. The team of movers contacted us at 8 am the morning of the move to let us know they would be on the way soon; however, they did not arrive at our house in Broken Arrow (from Jenks) until 9:40am.
"USPS Certified Mail" sent to First Choice Relocation was refused by Mr. Gary Haynes/staff. I sent documentation regarding our move. We wanted answers. Kelly came to our home in Tulsa,OK, viewed our possessions and later emailed us the written estimate (Cost $5,195.92) for our move to another state, some 490 miles away. Though, till viewing/estimate day I had only spoken with Mr. Haynes and had no idea someone else would be coming. Our situation was very different.
Our home experienced a natural disaster last year, and all our personal items were put in storage until we could get a new home. State Farm recommended First Choice Relocation to move our personal items from storage in Tulsa, Oklahoma to our new home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Facts are as follows: Wednesday, April 5, 2023 -- State Farm Adjuster approved First Choice Relocation's $8,680 bid to move our items from Tulsa storage facility to our new home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
I was very disappointed when they said they would be able to help me move at 9:30am. I contacted them at 10, was told they would call me back. I didn’t receive a call back. I notified them I was going to use a different company, they said they would be there within 45mins... over another 1.5 hours goes by and still had not heard nor seen them. Thankfully I had called another company who was there right on time.
I would not use this company again. The guys started the clock 15 minutes prior to them getting to the apartment complex. We had all boxes in the hallway to make it easier for the moves to get in, grab larger furniture. The guys took a little over 3 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment with very little furniture. The guys had an hour lunch but stated it was only a half hour. They took another 3 hours to move items off the truck into a duplex. The movers were very slow, and milked the clock.
The first move 5 years ago was great, they could not have been more helpful. The second move the movers were not motivated at all, and I had very little stuff to move too. Also seemed unhappy that I was using a credit card. They still give out free boxes which is nice, but the store you get them from has a cat and they are always requesting you are careful when you leave so the cat doesn't get out. They also smoke inside the store which is not very cool in todays business model.
LAZY, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL moving company. Brought 2 guys, one guy showed up with the flu and injured leg(and kept telling us how sick and injured he was so he basically did nothing except limp around and take cigarette breaks. I told the owner about it and he assured me he would do nothing to compensate me. USELESS OWNER AND COMPANY. I would rather pay double for a new moving company than ever use them again.

Top notch service from Eddie and the crew. Every one of the guys was friendly and professional. They were right on time and had a great attitude. They carefully wrapped our important pieces with furniture pads and did not damage one item or any part of either house. The move was absolutely professional and took the amount of time I expected. I really appreciated the care they took with our belongings.
I had a very positive experience with First Choice, flying in from out of town to pack out a home and prepare items for long-term storage. Communication was very effective the day-of and the movers followed my specific requests w/r/t packing. The pricing was very competitive. I have moved multiple times in a large coastal city and have a lot of experience both packing and expediting moves. I found First Choice very consistent with the movers I work with often and trust. In short, highly recommend!

Wow! There are not enough "stars" to project how completely happy and satisfied we are with First Choice! Let's start from my first inquiry phone call. Lindsay was informative, helpful, cheerful and a delight! Everytime I called to ask another question, she was the same! We were called to reconfirm our appointment, which is nice because when you're coordinating a move, you have a lot going on. Then there's Austin and Anthony! Big, big WOW! They showed up on time ready to go!
Highly recommend. We had a pretty large house with a lot of stuff and they were able to pack us in one day and relocate us to a new city a couple hours away. They took down all furniture, put it all back together, backyard equipment, attic, everything! AND they were able to stay within our relocation budget. If we ever move or relocated again, we will definitely use First Choice Relocation again.
