I hired JL Moving LLC to PACK my stuff. It took them an HOUR and a half. We were charged $775. When packing the stuff, I found out the boxes WERE 90% paper, extra materials were USED + no logic to the packing. Horrible SERVICE , ridiculously bad.
First, and foremost, let’s start with you are not our customer. We would not have charged you that price for an hour and a half of packing. That charge does not reflect our rates for our packing services. Second, we don’t overuse packing paper or use excessive materials.

We recently used Boerman/Bekins for our move, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and genuinely caring. They took extra care with fragile items and made sure everything was properly wrapped and secured. The scheduling process was smooth and straightforward, and all the staff were responsive and helpful in answering questions in advance.
Okay, so this is the very first time I used a moving company. I was afraid about the cost because I read many bad experiences that were written about other moving companies. The movers called ahead of time to let me know they were leaving their location, confirming the address they were on the way to begin the move. Terry introduced himself and so did the other driver.
After calling quite a few moving companies, we chose JL MOVING. That was the best decision we made. Rene she was the first person I spoke with, She made a hard situation so easy on us. Rene was always in contact with us even on the weekend before our Monday move, she kept things organized for us when we didn’t have the time, she is top notch. We did our move 2 increments. And the movers they gave us were phenomenal. First round of moving. We had four guys and they took great care of everything that we had.

My experience started with co-owner of JL Moving, Renee, who was a competent representative for the company. She came to our home in February for an estimate and took the time to sit down and get to know me and my concerns about moving. Her presence and reassurance was notable in handling my many questions. She followed up afterwards to check on our moving status. In the months that followed, we had several communications about our moving dates and the handling of our things.
