I unfortunately hired this company for our move this week. If I could give a negative rating I most certainly would. Maybe it's best they never showed up. I had a move scheduled for 9am on 1/29. I called the day before 1/28 to confirm move. As temperatures were forecasted to drop drastically and many schools and businesses had been and were predictedto be closed, I wanted to make arrangements if it needed to be rescheduled.

Brothers Relocation is by far the worst service I have ever received from a company. This is the 5th time I moved and I thought I would use a local company but that was a big mistake. They never wrapped the furniture. The furniture dolly had deflated tires, which in turn put a large scratch in my hard wood floor. They struggled to move our dressers to the second floor and made numerous holes in the drywall because they lacked the proper tools/strength for the move.

I would give them zero stars if I could. These people are the biggest rip off around. Bait and switch. Never use this company! I was quoted 3 different amounts (ranging from about $700 up to about $1100) and then charged 3 times the original amount (over $2200) when the movers were done. When I received the original estimate, I explained to them what I had and that I wanted them to come and do a visual and they wouldn't do it.

Terribly unprofessional, unrealizable and horrific experience. Jennifer was the bearer of bad news with no solution. We were told Chris would call and he NEVER did. The NIGHT BEFORE (4:54 PM) our scheduled 8am move, Jennifer called and unapologetically cancelled on us stating there weren’t any availabile movers. We were screwed, especially because it was too late for us to find anything else. And, we had booked then over one month in advance.

This is by far the worst service I have ever received from a company. I wish I could give them zero or negative stars. They quoted me for 3.5 hrs of work based on my furniture. It took them 7 hrs to finish. Guess why - because the two movers are slow and take a single piece (little bookshelf) one at a time. Really! A kid could carry a single piece. They somehow got "lost" on the way to my prior and future home - after digging deeper, the GPS showed that they stopped at their home.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY took my money, broke by kitchen table and failed to complete the job. When I called to complain I was told another crew would return to finish putting together my bed and a claim form for my broken table would be mailed to me. They never mailed the claim form and no one showed up to complete the job. They did not answer the phone or respond to my voicemail messages. I filed a complaint with BBB.

I've used Brothers for two moves now, a few years apart, and both times they were fantastic and efficient. They have it all down to a science, they work FAST, and I never had an issue with anything breaking. They even go above and beyond - when my bed wouldn't fit through the door, they disassembled it and explained what they were doing so I'd be able to put it back together at the new place.
