In their own words
Nightmare starting with Chipman. Chipman was the key to my cross country move being a complete disaster and nightmare. The only thing this company did right was to show up on time and "pack" my belongings. After that I never saw most of them again. The first sign of trouble was when the lead packer made a comment on how he couldn't believe the company took this job seeing as how they already had stuff "spilling" out of the warehouse.
I have mixed feeling about this company. They did not keep me informed about the day they planned to pack. Movers seemed nice and worked hard but I am still finding scratches and nicks on furniture that they moved. Despite taking apart a bed set to move only a short distance away, they were unable to correctly put it back together so that it now does not fit well and some pieces were actually broken. I felt the movers did not take good care with my furnishings.
Used Chipman Relocations for a cross-country move from Ca to Ga. Purchased full replacement value insurance at a premium cost. Items were damaged in transit and they are refusing to provide reimbursement for these items. They owe me $1119. Don't use them. They are dishonest and will find a way to not honor their own contract.
Would give this company 0 stars if I could. The military used this company to move our stuff and after two weeks of not receiving our stuff on time and living on air mattresses they show up 7 hours late on the day they said they'd be there …

In their own words
Great job by all the Chipman staff. Ignacio is the greatest. Paul & Jennifer deserve mention. The packing, loading and unloading crews were all careful, hardworking and respectful of us and our possessions.

My son used Chipman when he moved so had a good recommendation. Quenisha Burns was fantastic. Always available to answer questions and kept me informed as to my move. Ross the moving van driver was wonderful. On time if not early. Kept me informed as to when ny things would be delivered. Could not recommend anyone else.
Susan, we're glad to hear everything went well with your son's move, We know moving can be stressful and we're glad our team could put you at ease. Thanks for the great review and recommendation.
Quenisha is the BEST! All around professionalism, follow up and for overall making the experience of moving a very positive one ! I would highly recommend you to anyone needing a long-distance move! Often people reach out to complain but don’t do the same to say Thank you. So, I am thanking you from the bottom of my heart for staying on top of things and staying in touch all the way through!! You’re one in a million!
ATD / Chipman moved our house a few weeks ago and I wanted to make sure I came back to give them a good review. Everything loaded and unloaded quickly, and now that we are unpacked I can confidently say everything went through the move without any signs of damage. I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for taking the time to review our services. We strive to surpass expectations on every move, and it's wonderful to hear that you were satisfied with our services. Your kind words and recommendation are greatly appreciated.
