Added note: You guys have my number. If you want to do something about the poor service given to me, you can take the initiative to reach out. That’s not my job. Terribly run. I almost never make reviews but this place has 4.9 stars? What? Had an appointment for between 4:30 and 6:30 on Monday. Never showed. I texted to ask if they were still coming after 6:30 and got no response. The next day they apologized for not making it and said they wanted to make it up to me and that they strive for higher standards.

I don't like to give bad reviews but this one deserves it after I was flaked on by the man that was supposed to fix the damage cause to my home by the movers. I hired College Hunks to move me about 13 miles away. I only needed help with moving the large furniture items and I was going to get the rest myself. I had intentions of going through my garage and consolidating bins plus throwing a lot of stuff away since I had access to a dumpster. When the movers arrived I expressed to them exactly what I wanted.

**Update as of 04/14/2026, I've called College Hunks 5x times and created a "claim" without any call or response from the franchise. It is obvious this the priority was to comment on the google review, rather than resolve the issue and damage.** At first, I thought the movers did an excellent job. However, after seeing the final state of our belongings, I am extremely disappointed. Several items were damaged, and everything was carelessly and haphazardly thrown into the storage unit.

Not happy with this company. I sold my house and I kept getting spam calls from them asking if I needed movers. So they somewhere see people who sell there house then send them tons of spam calls. We need less of these type of companies doing this. It’s like you sell your car and you get 10 letters in the mail trying to sell you new insurance. 1 star

Beware of “Bait & Switch” tactics. Since when is a refrigerator considered 1/8 of a truckload? Got me to book with a $79 offer “up to 1/8 of a truckload”. When calling to confirm Dallin says a refrigerator is considered 1/8 of a truckload, and therefore charge would be $119.

We used College Hunks to move into our new home. They dropped our piano and gave me a phone number for Ricardo, promising that they would pay for the repair. I've called Ricardo several times and he has never answered or returned my call. …

Ignacio and Ricardo arrived on time and assessed the junk I needed them to remove. Then they gave me a price and quickly loaded up. I am very happy with how convenient and how friendly this service it. I have used them three times.
I called them this morning (Saturday) in a pinch, needing same-day packing help in Cottonwood Heights. The local manager, Ricardo, was amazing and got us on the schedule immediately! The crew, Francisco and Edwin, showed up fast, and they were incredibly careful with all our belongings. Everything is perfectly packed and ready for our move this Monday, which we also booked with them. Outstanding and fast customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend!

College Hunks Hailing Junk should be your first contact if you need any of the services they provide. Daniel, Miguel, and Chuck came and made quick work of the furniture that I needed removed. I made a reservation then canceled it because of a delivery change and no sooner did I cancel my appointment with the Hunks then my original delivery was back on. I had no issues getting another appointment. Day of, the guys let me know when they were 30 min out.

Francisco and Edwin were fantastic! We had to refinish our hardwood floors which means everything on our entire main floor had to be moved off the floor. Francisco and Edwin were great to work with to remove it all, and then we had them come to move it all back. Great experience!
