Unprofessional and overpriced. They required an evaluation before the packing day, and they showed up over 5 hours late causing me to miss my next appointment. They used profanity half the time. When the packers showed up they showed up without what they needed because the people who evaluated me didn't relay any of the notes somehow.

The two men that showed up for the move did not look like anything special at all. Judging from the company’s name I would expect to see some people that are visibly stronger than me. The two men took their sweet time moving everything from my storage unit to their truck. By the time everything was done and we all got back to my house we found out our over $1000 marble table has been broken. Two of the legs have snapped thus making the table un usable.

Customer service has been completely unresponsive since my move on May 26, so I'm writing to warn others that this company will take your money and not respond to any concerns. I hired movers from this company to load my 16 foot PODS container, and they loaded my things so haphazardly that many things were still left in my house. I'm a 70 year-old single woman and moving at my age is extremely exhausting. I was panicking that there were things left behind in the house.

Can't give it zero stars. Called 2 weeks prior to my move spoke with a gentleman who explained that they can indeed take my televisions off the wall and transport them to my new home. Had an estimate in person explaining my fiancé just had knee surgery and that he couldn't remove tv, in person again they assured him it won't be an issue. Upon moving date, movers walk in and they explain they couldn't take televisions off the wall but they could get everything else.......

they promised me movers at my disposal as long as I needed them, I have a bad back and am on disability. they assured me I had them as long as I needed and they set a 2 1/2 hour estimate, which they said was only an estimate and I had as long as I need. again, THEY SET THE TIME ESTIMATE, NOT ME, I WAS CLEAR ON WHAT I NEEDED AND EXPECTED. once the movers show up on the 28th, they act like everything is fine and then after 90 minutes all of a sudden they have time issues and have to leave in an hour.
Shelby, Each phone conversation is recorded and what you are stating simply is not true. We moved the items you said that needed to be moved, gave great customer service before (including rescheduling your appointment several times as you needed), during and after.
I attempted to use this business to move the home that myself and my recently deceased father shared. I booked an estimate appointment yesterday Dec 7th. I was scheduled for a two hour window 12-2 on Dec 8th.. That was fine. They were supposed to call when they were 30 min or so away. No call and no show. Called them at 2:30 and was told that I would be getting a call from them shortly on an ETA...

Went to college hunks because of the great reviews and experience that we had previously at work. Let me start by saying that the guys who did the actual work were great. Busted their behinds for us. However, the scheduling, quoting, follow up, administrative, customer service and return calling lacked horribly. We were closing down a home of a deceased family member. Due to circumstances, we had a short time line and had to be out of the home by 9/23.
Blake, we are sorry you were not happy with your services. We strive to make every client, a 5 star review. Our teams worked diligently to get everything completed within your timeline. I believe we were able to do so.
DO NOT USE COLLEGE HUNKS!!! They do not care about customer satisfaction. We had an itemized quote to move our house in September. But when the movers got to our house, we were told they won’t be able to move everything. And as they were moving furniture from the basement, they damaged our walls, causing us to lose money ($200) on the moving escrow deposit. That is why we hired movers, so we won’t lose our deposit! The movers didn’t even TELL US they damaged the wall. Plus they damaged a night stand.

Darius & Quan did an amazing job! 🏆They gave us more than 30 min notice, showed up on time, were professional & friendly, moved out the Loveseat, 2 Chairs & Queen Mattress within 30 min, making sure not to bump walls or scratch the floor! They did a better job than we could do ourselves, for a reasonable price, as all the items were in our lower level and stairs were involved. College Hunks are the best movers I have ever had. Deshaun and Chase drove from Flint to move me to Brighton Mi. They were on time, professional and courteous. They were careful with my belongings and very pleasant to work with as well! I was moving my entire household from a storage unit to a home and they were not only happy to help, they were lifesavers on top of that!
