🚨 My experience with Extra Mile Moving / Moving Forward has been one of the most stressful consumer experiences I’ve ever had. This was a move of approximately 38 miles from Brighton to Okemos. Before loading even began, I expressed concern that the truck appeared too small for the contents of my home. After a walkthrough, I was assured it was the correct size.
One of the worst moving experiences I've ever had. I chose this company based on their reviews, but I deeply regret it. They originally quoted me one price, then drastically increased it after they had already loaded some of my furniture onto their truck. I never signed a final contract agreeing to the higher price, yet they told me my belongings would be held in their storage unless I paid the new rate.
You are not in our system, and this review appears to be intended for another company.
They hired T&M shipping to pick up and transport our furniture and deliver it to SC. Extra mile movers are not an actual moving co with trucks , instead are brokers that hire out random company’s to do the work for them. Nothing but a big nightmare

I scheduled an inperson quote and moved around my schedule to accommodate it but these guys call me 1 hour before the scheduled appt and say they are unable to come and provide a quote. Don’t commit if you can not deliver. Not very professional- I am going to find another company to help me move now.

Beware if you have a pool table being moved by these people, they do not subcontract a billiard company. They try To do It incorrectly with no experience. They literally have video proof on YouTube of doing it incorrectly.

Their truck says it all, Brighton's Best Movers, but doesn't tell you why. I would like to take a moment to brag about Danny, Jaxon and Conner, the 3 gentlemen sent to move me yesterday. They were polite, energetic, organized, set expectations proactively and kept me informed for each step of the move. They were respectful of how they processed amd moved my belongings. They wrapped and sometimes double wrapped, furniture amd delicate items. They were kind to me and each other.
Cliff and Jase at Extra Mile Moving were outstanding! They were extremely professional, and worked hard the entire move. They handled everything with care, were efficient, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was their positive attitude and attention to detail. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was moved safely and placed exactly where I wanted it. I couldn’t be happier with the service.
My movers, Damein and Justin were AHmazing! They were super efficient, personable, took incredible care of my belongings, and were very attentive. My entire process with Extra Mile Moving was fantastic. Special shout out to Michael as well- responsive, kind, and so accommodating as I was booking my moving date. Absolutely would recommend this company in a heartbeat and will be booking them when I move again!!!! 10s all around. 😊
Connor, Tim, and Tyler did a fantastic job moving our belongings out of a storage unit into our new home! They were efficient, very courteous, and took great care of our items. The initial quote I received was very detailed so I knew the price range to expect when moving day came. I am very happy with the services that were provided!
