Terrible!! We moved cross country, packed day before, pick up truck and when I arrive told everything won't fit and had to up-size, then when done loading and trucks completely full, inform me everything didn't fit, can either get a trailer or leave things behind. After much pleading, agreed to complete the move and come get things, but then charged me for it. Gave military discount of $26.30 (1%) on $2,600, what an insult to our 30 years of service.

I have never experienced a company more disrespectful of my privacy. College Hunks Hauling Junk will NOT stop texting me, despite multiple requests via phone, email, and text to remove me from their system. I’ve explicitly told them to stop, yet the spam continues—day after day. This is more than just bad customer service—it’s illegal under federal laws like the TCPA and CAN-SPAM Act. It shows a complete disregard for consent, basic professionalism, and the law.

Wow, what a negative experince. Their photos make it look at "warm and fuzzy" with a few guys in front of a truck. I had a siimple call in, and get sent over to the call center. I tell them I have an elliptical exerciser and offer to send them photos. Needed it hauled away. They can't give me a price. I can't text photos of it them either. Two other places I texted photos and got a price right back. This place says "we will come out to give you a no obligation cost". I said "it's a eliptical.

Very suspicious about all these good reviews...because what are the odds that I have the only bad experience? I had a crew of three movers. Two of them had attitudes and only one was hustling. The two with attitudes seemed extremely annoyed that they had to move my items up to a second floor...which was made very clear when I booked the job. They broke an item that was highly sentimental to me and were very unconcerned about it. And they were definitely dragging their feet to run the clock.

That was a super stressful move. I was quoted 2.75 hours for moving only 7 big items. It took them 6 hours and I had to take the rest of my day off work to put together my fridges and couches AFTER they were done. I didn’t want them to stay any longer to try to figure out how to put my stuff back since they already went 3 hours past the quoted time. Only half of my stuff was covered and are dirty. My walls and floors have scuffs and dings. Not what I wanted or expected. I should have just done it all myself.
