This was actually our third time using D&D Moving Company in Fredericton, which makes this experience even more shocking and disappointing. Absolutely unacceptable experience with D&D Moving Company We booked movers for 4 PM to help load our U-Haul during a scheduled move. Nobody showed up. No phone call, no message, no cancellation notice — nothing. We repeatedly tried calling the company and were completely ignored. Moving day is already extremely stressful and time-sensitive.

This is my second time using D&D. Such a well organized business with very nice people! Recommend!! Update: after the movers left my house, I received an invoice that was far more $$ than I expected. I was charged for 10 hours of moving, which was much more than it took. The mover moved one box or one lamp at a time into my house which I found odd at the time and which I found deceptive after I received the bill. We arranged to pay in two instalments.

I'm not one to typically write up a review, but figured we'd share our experience. We booked this company due to the high reccomendations from everyone. We had them booked for a recent move, very friendly crew of guys, but we felt it went incredibly slow. There wasn't too much furniture wise, 1 bed/bed frame, 2 dressers, a couch, small kitchen table, coffee table, and bookshelves, things like that. I will admit, we had lots of boxes but they were all stacked fairly neatly and ready to be picked up with the dolly.

Hired this company to move the following items: - fridge x 2 - stove - dishwasher - king bed - cadenza - washer & dryer - deep freezer There were 3 men and an oversized cube van. I'm no expert, but I have moved a few times. I thought that this would be 2 hours maybe 3 hours because there were 3 of them. No, it took them 6 hours over a span of 2 days. There will be a rebuttal that they moved 10 dining room chairs and a split box spring, which no one told them to move.

We recently used D & D moving company and honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first phone call, communication was fantastic — responsive, clear, caring and consistent right up until moving day. Nothing fell through the cracks. We were nervous as moves are always that way but they put us at ease and made the move so much less stressful!! The packers and movers themselves were amazing. They were professional, efficient, and worked quickly even though it was a very long day for the movers.
