We are surprised by several of the statements in your review. Based on the information provided, it is difficult for us to link this to a relevant case, as several elements are inconsistent with our procedures.
Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. I took a lot of time before booking to make sure everything was clear. I had what I would consider a very simple move, a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor, no appliances, around 40 boxes, and standard furniture for one person. I was very specific about every single detail in advance, including inventory, access, and distance, so there would be no surprises. On moving day, things immediately felt off.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Our experience with this company was unacceptable from the moment the move began until our attempt to resolve the damage afterward. One mover attempted to carry our entire bed frame by himself. After realizing it wouldn’t fit in the elevator, he decided to take it down a flight of stairs on a mattress trolley. While pushing the trolley down the stairs, half of our bed frame fell off and hit the ground.
I absolutely do not recommend Le Capitaine Moving. One of the worst moving experiences I've ever had. The team arrived at 5:00 PM, even though my scheduled time was 1:30 PM, for a move that was supposed to take about an hour and a half to get there. The whole thing ended very late, at midnight, which could have been avoided with better planning. Although there were three movers, the work progressed slowly, and the team seemed inexperienced.
Never again! The movers just shuffled the truck around to drag out the move! When you load something first, it should be the last thing you take off, but that was definitely not the case! Things loaded first were almost the first to arrive at their destination! I definitely do not recommend them!
The team was friendly, but they were very slow and spent a lot of time on their phones. It took them 6 hours to move a 3 1/2 apartment with 3 movers. It cost me more than the moves I'd done on July 1st, and I deliberately moved on August 1st to save money.

I’ve had some really bad experiences with moving companies in the past but La Capitain has proven from first contact to the moment the movers were finished to be beyond professional and transparent with prices! They showed up EARLY, and finished quickly! Jeremy from the head office was extremely friendly and helpful!
C'était un déménagement super, Rachid, Rosalio et Luis ont été vraiment bien. They took very good care of all my items and worked hard. It was also really well managed by the team leading up to the move, excellent communication, a clear contract and fair prices. The best movers I've ever had.
They are very professional. Everything was as per their contract, with nothing extra to pay. The only thing not in the contract is that they are incredibly friendly. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was very polite and kind. The same goes for the two movers! I highly recommend them.
