DON'T USE THIS MOVER! THEY WILL STEAL YOU BLIND! They stole paintings out of frames, entire trunks of precious photos and collections of crystal. They damaged every piece of furniture beyond repair. Used a crowbar to open my brinks safe! Stole thousands of dollars of jewelry! They took advantage of me because I am a disabled divorced woman. Stole my collection of crystal eggs and Hummel Eggs. Deliberately broke mirrors and furniture. Stole over $30,000.00 in cash. This man should be in jail for Grand Theft!

The owner Steve was completely rude! I spoke with him the day before and he seemed like a nice guy. Well moving forward to reserving a time and day with his company is another thing. If you want to move forward, be prepared to answer his questionnaire to his satisfaction and read All of his programs and services or he’ll let you know it wasn’t up to his standards. I wish the call was recorded so I could share.
I called this place last minute looking for help and at first everything was good. They even offered me a free upgrade to a bigger truck which was wonderful. I was Quoted a specific time and that didn’t happen they had an excuse saying that it was in a different city and would be to me ASAP which cane an hour after eta.
Through my hunt of finding movies I came across dirt cheap movers I respect the company’s objective and I hope no one else has my experience. For starters Steve the owner reached out to me via text message. As I was having a hard time trying to book on the website. I explained my difficulties and Steve offered to put in the information for me, which was great. I only needed it for two hours however Steve informed me it had to be four hours and tried to send me on my way.
I reserved an appointment for movers and spoke with the owner. I let him know in advance that our close of escrow date would likely change due to some hiccups. He said it was no problem and that I should schedule anyway and then rescheduling is no problem. I contacted him to reschedule and he told me to do it myself online. I thought it was rude but I did it anyway. Then I found out my close of escrow date was moving again.
I used dirt cheap movers because they gave me the best rate. Everything was going well with the move. The owner and one of his helper arrived to do the move. The owner told me if we helped pack we would get a discount but after checking my final invoice we did not get the discount. So if you use this moving company make sure it's in cluded in your final bill.
I'm sorry to hear your experience was less than idea, Tabitha. I'd like to clarify about the discount - as it says on our website, you have the option of helping to put blankets on your furniture at pickup and then take off blankets and fold them at delivery.
Please avoid answering all the extra questions when trying to book this company. I spent an hour back and forth for him to tell me by phone he could get me a 2 hour min rate since I was literally using them in house to move a fright and a sectional up one flight of stairs. After asking me for photos of my home to tell me he would charge 4 hours min for the rate being that my “distance was too far out” mind you he’s in Corona based I am straight line off the 15 in north Fontana borderline literally Rancho.
Those people are rude. They said they need to come to my house to check the items. I said I don't want them to come by and I only want to do the quote over phone or questionnaire. I had a great experience with this company. After receiving around 8 quotes from different companies, Dirt Cheap Movers provided the best price options. From the beginning of the process, the communication from Steve was clear, punctual and professional so I already felt good about moving forward with them. Daniel and Xavier showed up on time and were carefully able to move all of my stuff from a 3rd floor apartment to a 2nd floor condo.
Scheduled a Sunday move with them. The communication system they have is great. The manager and Owner were on top of everything from my inquiry onward and communication was top notch. When it came time for the move itself their use of technology was very reassuring and they arrived 10 min early (which is on time in my book) and took great care in the actual move itself, were fast, and never did I feel like I was in their way as I tried to help or manage the process.

We used Dirt Cheap Movers to relocate my elderly parents into an Assisted Living Facility. They were Great! The process upfront was very easy with timely and straightforward communication.
