No-Show on Move Day – Left Us Scrambling With No Help I confirmed a move with this company on July 9th for August 2nd. I paid a $50 deposit and agreed to a clearly outlined rate of $282/hour for 4 movers, with an estimated 8 hours of labor and 1 hour of travel time. The move was local—just 1.1 miles from one 4-bedroom home to another. A week before the move, I received a confirmation email and even called the company with a question. They answered promptly, and everything seemed in order.

We hired Accelerated Deliveries based on their google rating. I went through the process of taking videos of every single room with drawers and cabinets open, like they asked. Chuck estimated it would take 3 men no more than 8 hours & an estimate of $2000-$2500 was provided. He explained this was a HIGH estimate and he was positive we would come in well under that. Well, 3 men showed up and 12.5 hours later our home was nowhere near finished.

COMPLAINT HAS BEEN PLACED, A POLICE REPORT DUE TO PROPERTY DAMAGE, FOLLOWED BY A CIVIL SUIT. I WILL LET YOURS AND CHUCKS OWN WORDS TELL THE REST HERE IN YOUR TEXTS. I was told by Chuck at Accelerated that my move would take three professional movers 6 to 8 hours and cost about $2,500. Instead, one professional showed up with two trainees who had to be taught on the job. The move dragged on until 10:30 PM, nearly a third of my belongings were left behind, and boxes that were moved were mislabeled or put in the wrong rooms. Despite leaving the job incomplete, they still handed me a bill for more than $4,000. I refused to sign because the work was not finished.

Accelerated Deliveries will pinch every $ out of you they can. I called for a quote and spoke to Taylor. Explained I had purchased a washer and dryer from CLT Wholesale in Cornelius (please go read my review for them. THEY ARE AMAZING!!) and needed it delivered and set up in Lincolnton NC. Taylor was in his car and said he was on his way back to his office and would send me an email with the quote shortly. I waited over an hour and never received an email so I called back.

Company looked at our home and gave us a quote, explained the process and we committed. They were supposed to come back by the house day b4 the move to revaluate the truck loads. They did not and sorely underestimated the workload and space required to move our stuff. They did not protect our floors or woodwork in the old ir new location. They damaged walls and trim. I specifically pointed out furniture I wanted handled with care and it was damaged.
