Not the smoothest of moves. Movers failed to wrap mattresses, drilled through two desk tops and failed to fix any of it. Our mattresses were soaked and we were told they would steam clean them. Leaving us to sleep on the floor for days until I replaced them myself at my cost. Weeks went by and no one showed up to steam clean anything. Ruby, the owner, claimed that the desks were being fixed by her husband but her team kept pushing the delivery date back.

I only gave one star because zero was not possible. Please do not use this group as they will take advantage and charge you more than estimated and what is correct. If, for some reason, you decide to use them, do not let them hold your stuff hostage and read every detail of every page of the contract, including their dishonest practice around tips. They will take it in the payment upfront, so while the moving people do a great job, no one tells you the tip is being charged in the cost.
Never got my special coffee maker that was broken during the move. Going on 2 years and I guess they not going to make good on that. I gave the benefit of doubt because I used them 2 times before my last time. It was several items broken this time but I only cared about my Phillips coffee maker because I paid a lot of money for it. Would have gave more stars but I was told they would buy me another one and they didn’t honor there word.
The time set forth in the reservation initial paperwork I agreed on was acceptable. I signed it. Next conversation was request for deposit. I gave my credit card. Then I received a document to sign with a completely different timeframe (early in the morning of the same day). I had discussed with Ruby that the home owner where the piano was being picked up could not agree to the early morning time. I explained this on our discussion at onset of our time frame negotiations.

I would give zero stars if I could. We had 1 day to move out of our townhouse and into a home we purchased as someone was taking over our townhouse lease the next day. They were scheduled to come at 12 and didn’t end up arriving until 3:30-4 o’clock. A company showed up that wasn’t even Florida man, they said Florida man had contracted them out or something, and 2 guys who were already mad about the job before mine came.

Terrible company. Bait and switched over to Big Boys Moving & Storage Company, who have awful reviews. Confirmed the price repeatedly with the owner, Ruby Atkinson. Made sure they wouldn’t charge me beyond what she quoted me on the phone. She swore they wouldn’t. The movers arrived almost an hour early, so we weren’t entirely prepared. They wouldn’t come back and said the clock starts immediately. And if you can believe it, the price was not what she quoted me.
