Despite an impressive description of this company's services and a claim of honesty, Kyle of Fresh Start failed to honor his promise of an estimate. Postscript: this business belatedly provided a quote. It was $570-$670 higher than the quote provided by a competitive family company with a BBB A+ rating.

Movers forgot to unload truck completely at the storage unit, drove to next location and they realized then we had to go back. Go double charged for labor and a separate drive time which makes no sense. Manager on the phone was very annoyed when we spoke and he gave me the equivalent of a corporation response. So for a 2 hour move I was charged for over 3. Very bad taste left in my mouth from this company. They tried to sell me on being under their quote time.

From the free quote when Kyle toured the home with me, to the 3 hours it took four guys to move our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, the people were communicative, punctual, and so efficient. Everything was carefully moved out and back in with professionalism and care. 10/10 recommend Fresh Start Movers. Thanks for making our transition so smooth, easy, and hassle-free! Definitely will use the company and service if/when moving around the area again!

I love supporting a locally owned business that does such a wonderful job at a very reasonable price! From the moment Emily answered the phone, I knew I was in good hands. A short conversation with her followed up with a video walkthrough my place from Kyle (owner), resulted in an accurate quote with no hidden surprises. No extra charges here or there. A great job at a great price. Kyle’s team was very careful with my belongings. They came in the day before to pack up my stuff and moved me the next day.

From start to finish, Fresh Start Movers' performance was top-notch. Kyle was unable to make a home visit for the quote in time for my move, so at his suggestion I walked him around our home via FaceTime, which worked great. From the very beginning Kyle was professional, courteous, down-to-earth, and clearly knew what he was doing, asking all the right questions. Communication throughout the process was consistent and spot-on. They were even able to adjust the schedule last minute to beat the rain.

We hired Fresh Start Movers to help us move across town. We had a lot of big, heavy, bulky items and there was no way we could do it ourselves. I spoke with the owner regarding our quote and he was very thorough in his questions to get a clear picture of how much we had to move (I was unavailable for a site visit, but he offered to meet me there that day!). There was no confusion about the pricing and I received my quote as soon as we got off the phone.
