BEWARE- they quoted one price and charged another. I continued to reach out to get a refund that I was clearly owed and they stopped responding. In fact they stopped answering my calls. I’ve lived over 15 times- even cross country moves and they did a lackluster job at best. There are many many moving companies here in Texas and in my area- I would recommend absolutely ANYONE else. They charged me for time they didn’t provide. It’s a horrible way of doing business.
On 1/14/2022, I moved from one neighborhood in Friendswood to another, which is less than 3 miles away using Ever Moving Truck company. On the email contract that I received indicated 4 movers with rate of $135/hour and service charge of $202.50 with $75 for Piano. Since I already packed all the boxes and not moving 3 beds, Dining Table set, Washer and Dryer, the movers told me it should not take more than maximum 6 to 8 hours.
Unfortunately this crew failed to deliver our moving experience “safely, quickly, and affordably.” Firstly we asked for a moving time as early as possible- the movers didn’t show up til after 10AM. Secondly, my husband communicated to the crew multiple times that furniture and appliances that were accessible should be moved first and the fridge needed to be moved in the first trip because food was on ice waiting.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They over charged me on the 10% gratuity that I selected via their app.. Their app showed a certain amount and then when I received the bill later on via an email the gratuity was more than what I was shown when I signed off at the end. I've tried calling several times to discuss on multiple occasions and they will not answer the phone. Do not be deceived by this company.
The moving company is pathetic they took 7 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment stuff and damage my furniture and told me “ now you are making stuff up” the and when I confronted them “they told me you are not paying your husband is paying so you should not talk” They send 2 1/2 guy after telling us they are gonna send 3 guys and 2 off them took 1/2 hr break on job and we’re talking on phone they deliberately slow down working after one hour to prolong the move and after asking to move fast they guy said to not…
Two movers came but when it came to unloading my stuff, one mover stayed in the truck for an entire hour. Turns out he was scared of dogs but didn’t say anything to me because he didn’t speak English. I lost an entire hour and had to pay for both movers for that hour. I ended up staying outside with the dogs so that the other mover could start helping out. I could have done this from the get go if they had just told me one mover is scared or dogs.

We recently relocated to the Houston area from Washington, DC after a 22-hour drive, and Ever Moving Truck was scheduled to move us into our new home that Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that our new flooring had been installed without anything in the house being protected or tarped.
