While they were very quick, the communication was poor and they did not bring anything for packing like I requested. They also did not call me before the move like they said they would to confirm, just showed up the day of the move. I even tried to reach them prior to the move when I didn't hear anything, but never got a call back. I let the movers know about the lack of communication, but even after the move, no one reached out.

Have used this company several times prior to this last time and they had always done great work. NEVER AGAIN. LIARS & THIEVES Scheduling of my move with Bill went fine. Then moving day came. Arrived late at 8:40 am. Told me they would not move hot tub as scheduled because it was not disconnected. I proceeded to disconnect tub and when finished I let them know. They were not happy. I asked them to start in garage with boxes and they did exactly OPPOSITE of what I asked. They were very rude when asked any question.

Don’t believe the price quoted!! I requested them come to my home to give me a face to face quote, as I wanted the truest quote possible, and when all done and moved, the final bill was $1,000 more than the quote! The way a company like this works is, give an ultra conservative quote, and once the move has occurred, charge whatever they want, as there is no recourse. I was also told I would get a phone call to discuss the charges, which never occurred. Stay away and use a “real” company.

First of all, I chose them because of their reviews, I thought I'd give them a try. I asked all the typical questions about the move and their fees. The scheduler Dave SAID he told me that they charge from the time they leave their headquarters, and of course he didn't. Like no one could figure out the math for them to drive, not just to the moving site, but to return to their headquarters. This was a double charge for not moving. This was all put to me at the end of the move.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Hernia Movers. I chose them based on a referral, so I was very surprised when it turned out to be a bad move. The 2 guys showed up on time and were super friendly, but from the beginning it was apparent that they weren't going to be careful with my possessions. I must have told them 6 times that I just bought my living room furniture, and can they please take care of it, but they were slinging it around uncovered like it was junk.

Eh. I hired Hernia because 18 months ago I hired movers for the first time and they did a good job. I have even recommended them to friends since then. The first move was a full service move with their vehicle. This time was not the same. I hired them to load a large truck that my company owns. I called the day before and talked to the office to confirm my time. When originally booked I was told 12-2 is when they would arrive.

I have to say that I’m extremely disappointed in this company. I believe the job could have been completed in 3-4 hours max, had the movers work efficiently. One not only moved slower than molasses, he stopped to watch the football game across the street, chatted with the patrons of the game and even hid in the truck to play with his phone. There were times when I was literally looking for him and wondered why my stuff was just sitting in the yard.

I used Hernia movers 3 years ago to unload a U-Haul when I moved to WI - no issues. The 3 guys were on time, nice and professional. I decided to use them again when it came time to move out and load up my U-Haul to move across the country again (they were aware we had a long drive ahead of us with everything). Again the 3 guys were on time, nice, and professional. They were fast too!
