Worst moving experience ever! Go somewhere else. We were initially quoted $3250 for the move despite me telling the rep on the phone that it's a 3 bedroom house with study/living room/dining room, including backyard. When the movers came in performed an inspection price jumped to $7400 - I tried to call my rep Elijah but the calls went to answering machine. This is blank extortion- you are booked to move your stuff that day as you have a flight the following day. They take full advantage of your situation.
This is not a review about Ideal Movers & Storage in Hadley, MA. We do not have "reps". We are a family owned and operated business. We have never had an employee named Elijah, and being a small company of less than 20 employees we know … More
After $150 non refundable deposit was told I needed to be onsite by 9am for the move (small). I was told I would receive a call 20 minutes before movers would arrive. By 2pm no call no show move was done. Ideal kept my deposit. Let my $150 lesson be a cautionary experience about who you choose to work with.

Worst moving experience ever and I've moved a lot. I hired one place who then contracted out to this business. I ended up getting yelled at by the foreman. They this company charged me an additional $600.00 for their moving expenses. They …

Came in far over quote. Some of that was on me but some was because they forgot their tools, despite the fact that we had an explicit conversation about them needing to bring tools. I was not happy with my experience and would not use this company again.
Google Users deserve to hear honest feedback. The original estimate was for a cost of $1124. The total of this job came to $1368. After the estimate, this customer called to add a second stop which involved picking up a washer and dryer.
After they cancelled my appointment I did get my deposit back but it took a bad review for them to reach out to me and refund the reservation fee. I think if I had a larger move we might not have had this issue
We were more than happy to try and coordinate this move between you and the current owners of the property. Unfortunately, the information given to us did not match the information given to us by the owners. Despite multiple attempts to try … More
Estimate was 2 times lower than requested amount at the day of moving to another state. Delivery time was much longer than promised. No one was answering phone calls or emails after money was paid.

Very happy with Ideal. I set up my move with Garrison, who was easy to work with and responsive. On move day, they arrived promptly and our team of Odemir, Jose and Alex were outstanding. They worked quickly and diligently to pack up and move me out and in, including a stop to drop things at a new storage unit. They were very professional and helpful. Also very pleased with the storage facility and the helpful staff there. Highly recommend!
This was the first stage of my move and I couldn't be more impressed. Jason and Montoya from Ideal Movers, who handled everything, were pleasant, energetic, focused, and clearly very knowledgeable. They took great care of my furniture and boxes - over 100 in total - and not a single item was scratched or damaged. What really stood out was how attentive they were to placement, making sure I was completely happy with where everything went. They worked efficiently and finished in record time without cutting corners.
Hi Barbara, thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Jason and Montoya made such a strong impression during the first stage of your move. Moving can be stressful, and our goal is always to make the process … More
We worked with Ideal in truly extenuating circumstances, after a snowstorm and in the face of roads that were shut down. When it became apparent that the scheduled moving dates were not possible, they packed up all of our belongings, and moved them to their facility in Hadley at no charge. Without a doubt this was a very complicated move. I would say that we were demanding from the standpoint of how our things needed to be organized, using a system that we created and that they adapted to seamlessly.
Hi Edward, thank you so much for your kind words! We know the snowstorm and road closures created a very challenging situation, and we're glad our team could help make the process easier by packing and safely storing your belongings until … More

We felt completely confident that they would be careful with the items we were moving, and we enjoyed interacting with them. We would absolutely use Ideal Movers again and would not hesitate to recommend them to any one else.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear that Jason, CJ, and Jose provided such a positive moving experience. Our team takes great pride in being punctual, efficient, and treating every customer's belongings with care.
