I called and spoke to Diane . She seemed pleasant enough. She asked me to send list of stuff to be mi Ed. I sent the video tour of my house so that I can get ball park estimate. Sure enough it was 5000- 6700 final figure after she gets the list . Once I sent the list it was 9700. $500 deposit and rest when the have loaded my stuff in the truck. I asked why should I pay prior to delivery and set up. The answer was company policy.
I had a very similar experience to Shelley Tidino below. Movers were very efficient, and very nice. My stuff arrived completely intact. However, on the day of my move, they showed up with a truck 1/2 the size I was told I would get. Said they would be unable to pack the entirety of my 1 bedroom apartment. Left about a quarter of my stuff behind that i had to move on my own later. They told me I had to decide then and there, without talking to the home office.

Major Moving did an outstanding job with my recent move from Van Nuys to my girlfriend’s apartment in San Pedro. It wasn’t a huge move just a few pieces of furniture, my bike, some gym equipment, and a few boxes but Anthony and his crew handled it with total professionalism and speed. They arrived right on time, got everything wrapped and loaded super quickly, and made sure all my stuff was secure for the drive. You could tell they really knew what they were doing everything was handled carefully but efficiently.
I had a great experience with Major Moving Company. Diana was very responsive and professional in booking my move date and time. Day of move, the two movers, Gabriel and Daniel, were nice, efficient, and always sought my input on where to place items. We finished moving my 1 bedroom in under the minimum 4 hours. I had a simple move - furniture already disassembled, no appliances, no large items.

Just finished a move from a house in Thousand Oaks to an apartment in Agoura Hills with a ridiculous number of stairs and Major Moving absolutely crushed it! Huge shoutout to Anthony, Vlad, Max, and Boris for being total pros. They showed up on time, wrapped and moved everything with great care, and didn’t let the stairs slow them down.

Major Moving did an incredible job moving my baby grand piano in Santa Monica. Anthony and Willian were outstanding professional, careful, and extremely strong. They took their time with quality packing, making sure every part of the piano was well protected before moving it. The lifting and maneuvering were done with real precision and teamwork no bumps, no scratches, just smooth and careful work all the way.
