Avoid this moving company!!! My movers showed up over an hour late for the confirmed 8:00–9:00 AM window — because management sent them to the wrong address first. I’d confirmed details multiple times via phone earlier in the week, but no one answered my calls all morning. The two times I did reach someone, she promised me the movers’ numbers and a 30% discount for the delay. Neither happened. Before starting, I was pressured to sign paperwork locking in the fee despite the delay.
We keep receiving emails/text from VIP asking for more business. It appears they do not remember that they did an AWFUL move job for us last year, costing us over $5/k in broken furniture, mirrors, and cabinets. Many of the items were one of a kind. Then before they would unload the truck, they made us pay them which we did in CASH. Then they did an UNAUTHORIZED charge to our credit card. The credit card was ONLY given to them as per their policy to HOLD ONLY our move time. They knew NOT to charge the credit card.
WORST MOVING COMPANY they left behind many of my boxes and my stuff went missing. When I called them they keep telling me they are trying to find a resolution and still waiting for a resolution!
Please take VIP Pro Moving reviews with a gain of salt! I hired this company for a local move in LA and gave the movers a 4/5 stars originally. The movers were friendly and did get the job done but they were slow with packing and my roommate & I ended up helping them carry stuff to not go over time. The crew did request me to post a review on Yelp and Google. I gave them, what i believed was a fair rating (4/5 stars).
Over priced and dishonest - I hired these movers for a 1.5 bedroom move that was 1 block away and they quoted me at $500-$860 for the move. The move ended up costing $1,700 dollars. I did not have any furniture that was particularly expensive/heavy/difficult, but they moved very inefficiently. I saw the movers going up and down the elevators without anything in their hands and the move took extremely long.
Where to start, we scheduled a move with this company 3 weeks in advance with their Northern California team. The day before our move my wife had to call because it was already almost 4pm and we had no confirmation call. My wife called and …

I witnessed VIP Pro Moving dumping their trucks on the streets in LA at 11pm on 7/2 . This is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. I do not recommend their services, who knows where your stuff will end up.

Exceptional and flexible service. I cannot reccomend these guys enough. I had a very complicated corporate move to a convention center and back and I was overwhelmed with the potential process. These guys were super chill and helpful and made this far less complicated for me. They took super care of some very expensive and fragile items with no issues. I will always use them for any moving needs.
