Make Your Move Folsom

I had the worst moving experience with them in November 2022. To begin with, they were 4 hours late. Then their tools were not charged which caused delay in the job (I had to pay for the extra time). The crew also seemed tired and became agitated as the the time passsed, becoming rude and causing damage to the furniture and the property. They even didn't assemble the furntiure which I found out later and had to do it myself. I will not recommend them if you care for your time and money.

A few boxes of our items went missing. Complained to management and they got defensive and said their employees wouldn't steal anything. Edit: of course they will comment. Their movers stole multiple boxes. There is no denying that. We told them about it, they said that their workers would never do so... and that was the end of that. I spoke to them over the phone even. Do not work with them. The people they have physically moving for you are ex-cons, they will share stories about how they were in jail....

Watch out for this guy. We made a deal for 2 guys and truck and the day before the move he sends me a text saying he could send an extra guy for a cost of $155.00 and vs the original cost of $125.00. I told him no only to find out when the guys showed up the next morning he sent 3 anyway. Not much I could do now because I needed to move that day or I would have sent them away. Now I have moved a few times in the last 3 yrs and always used UHaul as my moving company.

Review of ‘Make Your Move’ in Folsom, CA Last week-end, my daughter was all ready to move the contents of her 3 bedroom house with help from the moving company, “Make Your Move” located in Folsom. About 15 minutes before they were due to arrive, Kevin, the owner, called to tell her they couldn’t come because the driver was unwilling to cross the bridge on the road to her house.

Absolutely do not recommend. The management is incredibly unprofessional to the point of making me very uncomfortable, the moving staff doesn’t communicate well… they didn’t even get everything out of my house. I ended up having to rent a freaking uhaul to transport the missed boxes and I’m still missing items I can’t seem to locate. Overall, just a really frustrating experience that I had to pay a lot of money for. If you’re in need of help, find another company. You will be sorely disappointed with this one.

I promise you these 5* reviews are fake. This guy moved my 2 Br apt near the airport to another 2Br Downtown. They got nearly everything loaded in <2 hours and then totally slowed down, taking over 7hrs to load one truck. He then calls me as they are driving downtown and say unless I agree to pay hundreds of dollars more he will just keep all my possessions. I have no skin in the game just trying to look out for the next person so they want get scammed.

We recently planned a move in Roseville. They showed up on time. It felt like it was going to be a good experience at first. But no. We reached out to the owner a few times to ask why some of my valuable items didn’t get moved to our new home. Did they get misplaced somehow? What went wrong. He has not returned our call. We have also had to get our insurance company involved. Maybe this is a one off -Sorry to say.

Worst experience ever. They came late, having said to come in the morning but came in the evening. Their equipment was not charged, so they were doing it manually which costed us double the time. They were tired from their previous job, arguing with each other, damaging our baseboards and wall paint.
