In their own words
Moved from NYC to west coast of FL. The crew was punctual, courteous and efficient. The FL drop off was painless too. We had many fragile items with nary a single breakage. Shout out to crew chief, Bill! Would not hesitate to recommend.
We can’t say enough positive things about our experience using McAvey Movers. From start to finish we were treated with professionalism and dedication to service. They were the only company that sent a person to the house to discuss and assess our moving needs. The day before the move they came and wrapped all of the furniture and helped finish packing the fragile items. The move into a storage unit went smoothly (they fit everything we own into a 10x15 unit like Tetris experts!
Hired McAvey for an last minute move. They had availability and came the next morning. Bill and his crew showed up when they said they would, all five of them were thoroughly professional, polite, careful, and respectful. They asked before using the bathroom, they were careful with the stuff and the house, they were nice to the kids, they worked super hard all day. The price was completely reasonable and there were no surprises at all - I paid the agreed-upon price.
McAvey packed framed paintings and labeled each one, mirrors, glasses, china, five barrister bookcases (with glass fronts), plus they disassembled and assembled a dining table, a wrought iron bed, and a large screen television with base. And they moved a piano. No issues. No breakage. The team is efficient, professional, and a pleasure to work with.
