Horrible experience. Owner first said he'd squeeze me in with little lead time so I was impressed and optimistic but then he failed to show up blaming me for not confirming with him (he sent a confirmation text a couple days before my move date that DID NOT REQUEST A RESPONSE). I called him the morning of my move 2 hours before he was expected after staying up all night scrambling to pack and he said that he couldn't get there that day.
So, today we had a discussion. That discussion was about how metro movers employs hateful individuals that threaten the safety and livelihood of bipoc. Your choice to employ these kinds of people with hate the heart should negatively reflect your businesses as your decision to retain these people negatively impacts our community.
Didn't bring a big enough truck. I had to leave many things behind on my move out. Couldn't move everything in at new place. Charged me big bucks again for a 15 minute job when they came back. Not giving random reviews to random movers, I've reviewed for a long time and I'm very careful about who I review. You moved me.
I believe you have the wrong company. Please check your paperwork. We have no record of moving you. Its a shame that a reputable company such as mine gets a bad review because you aren’t listing the right company or this is a fake account. … More
Don't believe Mike! He misrepresented the cost and it was $150 more than the worst case scenario when they were done. What was even worse was you had to pay all cash or all on a card which cost you an additional 4% of total & we weren't …
Hi there Barb. Thanks for the review. For the record, all of our clients are told the same thing daily on the phone just as your daughter was told you wouldn’t know that as you did not book the job. Also, please speak truly regarding your job as you had much much more than 40 boxes.

Excellent moving experience with Bert, Stevie and Mike. We booked with Metro to move my parents to a new (smaller) home and I'm sincerely grateful for the kindness and care they had not only for all the furniture and belongings, but also for my parents. They treated my parents with respect and thoughtful kindness -- moving is stressful, especially for our elders and the Metro team made them feel at ease. I especially appreciated their flexibility when some furniture items did not fit where we had hoped.
Excellent experience with their team. They moved baby grand piano for us and were exceptionally careful and delicate and set it up perfectly!
Recently moved from Macomb to Troy. Anthony & Michael handled my move. They were on time and very professional. No issues or mistakes from them at all. A landscaping company's truck and trailer was in the street. This made things somewhat harder for A & M but they handled it without complaint. Happy I used them. Top guys all the way.
