Received a threatening letter in the USPS mail accusing me of using their lock without paying for it for months, while paying for my unit on time for months. It says "it has come to our attention that a lock belonging to Mini Storage Depot - Valdosta is securing your storage unit..." I have my receipt that I purchased my lock and have my keys for the lock.

It started back in January when I rented a climate controlled unit. The rate was good and I know many companies will do just an introductory rate, so I asked the gentleman at the counter why the rates were so good and he responded with. “We’re just trying to get them rented. We don’t want them empty.” That would’ve been the perfect opportunity to let me know that was only a temporary rate. None of that was said. In May, I received a letter saying that we were going to have a rate hike of $30 more per month.

Brand new, very clean, and the manager, Jeffrey, is so friendly and professional. Do not hesitate to rent a unit here! Edit: unfortunately, not even half a year later, I have to retract my five star review. As nice as the office people are, my things were COVERED in rodent poop when I returned to check this past month. I moved my things out of there, and have thrown many of my personal belongings away, and am worried to keep the sentimental things I kept in my unit.
