Morris Moving and Storage LLC

Avoid this company at all costs! My wife and I were using Morris Moving and Storage for packing and loading services. I scheduled the services well in advance and even called the night before to confirm. The day of the packing and loading, two guys showed up (3 hours late) with no packing supplies and only two dollies to load. They were confused when I asked them where the packing supplies were and we had to call their boss to confirm that I was scheduled for both packing and loading.

Absolutely awful experience with this company. Unresponsive and took advantage of my father who is a disabled veteran. The short story is they charged us $960 for 3 hours of work, when we actually paid for 5. We had booked through hire a helper (which we will NEVER DO AGAIN). My Dad had a traumatic brain injury from the service, which has led to a terminal illness, and this move was very stressful for us. He underestimated the size of the truck needed due to his condition.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! These people were hired to help the new neighbor next door move in and they shattered my entire front entrance window during their moving process. Because they shattered my window on a weekend and because it happened late in the afternoon my apartment complex cannot come to fix the window that THEY BROKE until Monday.

I would have liked to give 5 stars as the guys were seemingly great. But now that things have settled I see there is quite a bit of damage to my walls, stairs and furniture. I know a little bit is to be expected but there was some furniture damage that cannot be fixed and they lost a caster (said it was in the front of their truck) to a rolling piece of furniture that now I cannot use. Also several 2nd floor boxes were left on the first which are to heavy for me to move.

I scheduled a move with this company and they sent 2 movers with a truck that was not big enough to move a full 2 bedroom townhome. They were on time which was great but the time it took to load the truck was not done efficiently. $600 later a lot of my furniture remained and I had to end up helping in the end just so I wouldn’t be charged more money. Then to top it off they damaged the foot of my dresser and did not say a thing.

"F" rating on the better business bureau says it all, and its absolutely well-deserved. The BBB website shows their license was revoked by the DMV. If you want your stuff impounded while they drive around without a license, definitely use this company! Also, priced way higher than any other moving company, which is insane considering how poorly they treat their customers. Shady company with terrible customer service, won't think twice about ripping you off the first chance they get.

I had the helpers come in and unload boxes and move a bed to another room I stepped away for a second and something of mine was taken. There was nobody in the house but the two movers and I. $45 were given to each of them which they obviously do not deserve they went through our stuff and I am very upset and disappointed with this company. The owner was called and was honestly clueless as to who he hired.

Why don’t they have 0 stars ? No show no call . Would never answer the phone . How can this company stay in business ? Cost me a lot of money getting someone at the last minute . Beware ! Shady Crooks
