The rating breakdown
Google shows 19 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. None of them are one or two star.

Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
They are very professional. Prompt, courteous, and thoughtful. The move to get my baby grand up a tight stairway to the third floor was not an easy job. The Pianoland crew made it look so easy and smooth. They actually made a special trip to come check out the stairs before the day of the move. That's why the actual move was so successful and fast. I would definitely recommend these NYC Piano movers to anyone who needs to move their piano. You're not going to find anyone more experienced and professional.
My daughter needed a piano but a new one was not in our budget. I found a nice Yamaha on Craigslist, outside NYC in Brooklyn. I purchased it and hired Pianoland to do the piano moving for me. They are the professionals and I would never attempt it myself. They charge a flat rate from borough to borough which was very reasonable. They used great care in wrapping and loading it and delivering it to our Manhattan, New York apartment. My daughter loves her new piano.
When I needed piano movers to get an antique piano out of a New York loft, I called several piano moving companies. I was very impressed by the experience that was conveyed to me by the person from Pianoland. I hired them for the job and it went extremely well. They needed to partially disassemble it to navigate the stairwell that led to what was an old freight elevator. It was delivered to my shop in SoHo where it awaits its new owner. Once sold I will hire Pianoland again to move it.
We used Alex when we first got our piano and we were very pleased with the results. We just moved and our movers damaged many of the keys during the move. We called Alex again, and thank goodness, he managed to fix the keys and tune our piano so our daughter can once again play. We were very pleased with his professionalism and skill and we highly recommend him to anyone that needs a piano moved and tuned.
What Google’s own summary highlights
Google surfaces topics it finds across a business’s reviews. They skew positive across every mover we hold, so treat them as a summary of what this company is praised for rather than a balanced picture.
