Sam's Movers

Avoid this company if you value your belongings. Their team was unprofessional and treated my furniture terribly. They don’t provide anything close to a white‑glove service — they tossed items around, damaged my dresser, broke the legs, and then tried to blame it on the furniture being “loose.” They promised repairs and a replacement, but neither has happened. On top of that, they drove under the speed limit to inflate the hourly cost. I wouldn’t recommend them even to my worst enemy.

The most AWFUL experience ever. Movers were 3 hours late, took 5 1/2 hours including stopping for drinks to move a 1 bedroom apt approx 5 miles with 3 movers. Then wanted $700 to leave furnishing on the wet ground or $1000 to take it upstairs. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I used Sams Movers specifically 2 of their movers to provide the labor only. I dealt directly with Sam after discovering that 2 pieces were missing from the move. After text and telephones conversations with Sam and 2 major verbal blowups …

Sam is a middle man who gives out jobs to small movers. I explained I had heavy furniture and wanted professionals who knew how to move quickly. I told him I wanted to keep it at 4 hours. He gave me his personal cell and said $99 for the 1st 2 hours and $99 for every other hour. He sends J R movers with an old U Haul truck. Nice guys but had never moved heavy furniture. They argued with each other had to call JR about everything and took 4 hours just to load the truck!

If zero stars were an option online that's exactly what I would give them! Just because you say ma'am after every sentence, doesn't make your services better. They were so slow that I (a woman of 5'2) had to help speed up the process by moving boxes, ect to the front room because I believe they were going SLOW on purpose just to make my final bill higher! One of the men complained that I had too much furniture, and sabotaged them, huh???

Moving is already stressful and in choosing movers, you want a company that is reliable. I reached out to Sams mover over a month in advance. Unfortunately, 2 days before my move date, the company decided they would no long take credit card payments, after confirming that they would(heads up). On top of that, I was quoted several different prices throughout our scheduling, so much so, I requested an invoice. After my 3 request I was finally sent a picture of an handwritten invoice 2 days before my move date.

Unprofessional company. Damaged My leather sectional and did not compensate for the damages. I asked for someone to just fix it at least . I offered the owner to come to my home because the workers lied about the quality of the couch . He never showed. The owner continuously asked me for the model of the couch, and I kept providing every detail that they needed. No resolution . Steer clear . Dragged the situation on for over a month with no solution so I left it in Gods hands.

I cant guve a good review because i feel that because being a woman the moving prices werenot explained well. Good learning experience; to ask all the questions otherwise you will have surprise prices. They movers were respectful otherwise would it be a good experience an a good review.
