Worst moving experience ever. The movers showed up 1 hour late but the dispatcher couldn't tell me why they were late or when they would show up. I told them to send a pickup truck because the move was in a very hilly spot with small streets. They sent out a 26' truck! The move took 2 hours and I had to pay the 3 hour minimum which is fine but when the movers finished they scoffed at my offer of a $50 tip and I ultimately got pressured by these 2 huge Russian movers into nearly double that amount.
The worst experience I have ever had. They do not have an actual location. They packed my storage unit so full, I can’t get anything out of my storage unit. They blocked the entrance with mattresses. A check book is missing from one of my files after the move. And a check was presented to my bank for an amount over $1000.00 with a notes saying check was for moving. I believe items were stolen from me by movers. Do not ever use a website that doesn’t have an actual address where you can verify business.
Really nice guys, but they broke tons of stuff and didn’t tell us. It was things we only realized later, after we had given them a hefty tip and they had left. Badly done.
I'm giving them one star for their utter lack of professionalism. They did in fact move my things from one location to another. They did break several pieces of furniture, but that is not why I'm giving them one star. When they arrived, the driver informed me that I must pay him cash. I let him know that I had a credit card on file and I had already made arrangements to pay by credit card. He informed me that I just didn't understand how it worked.
I called SAN RAFAEL MOVERS to move from Concord to San Rafael. After seeing that they cover many of the surrounding areas I was very shocked that they would not service [phone removed] is in San Rafael. They're called San Rafael movers and claim to be based out of San Rafael.
We are 6 hours in and they just finished loading a 2 bedroom apartment . Hired 3 movers, one refused to work after I insisted he wear his mask and not throw cigarette butts on my driveway. Very hard to communicate since only one mover speaks english.
Beyond horrible. Broken items. Inefficient movers. Unresponsive customer service. Lack of punctuality. Lack of adherence to Covid specs. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
