UPDATE: Some more boxes that were unpacked, take a look. I want to start off by saying the movers we had were very unprofessional, from playing music that’s completely inappropriate for a woman alone in her home to one of the employees giving me a hard time about my valuables when no one explained this in the first place. We’re on day 2 of unpacking our stuff and there’s another box that we have to throw out and claim.
Failed to properly install furniture in my house. I was promised by the movers that the company would send out a professional immediately to correct that issue. Since that point the company has completely ghosted me. Their "specialist" made two appointments with us, requiring me to stay home from work, and failed to show up to either appointment. No phone call was given. Additionally, I cannot get in phone or email contact with any employee who has worked on my project. Immediately to voicemail with no response.
Without a doubt the worse moving experience i have had and I have now done 7 in the last 10 years. Packout - supervisor was completely unfamiliar with his software, at one point asking my wife and I if we knew how to use it. Damaged our …
Unfortunately this company was contracted to move my household goods for a military move. On the day that they delivered my goods, they brought in a piece of furniture that did not belong to me. When I told the guy this, he asked me if I wanted to keep it. This item belonged to another service member and he was just gonna give it away instead of trying to find it's rightful owner. They also lost part of my delivery. This delivery was on a Saturday, so I was supposed to get a "call" from the manager on Monday.
Unfortunately what started out as a nice move of my personal belongings out of my house into the truck, ended with a move into my storage unit that was less than ideal. Each of the gentlemen who helped in the stages of my move were cordial, professional and respectful however there was a lack of professionalism, a lack of accountability as well as misinformation and miscommunication/no communication from Mario and Maribeth.
If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would. This company absolutely crushed my family's hearts. We moved from CA to WA, this company rushed the whole process. They refused to let me in boxes when I asked, refused to let me grab personal items. …

I am beyond satisfied with Southbay Moving. We had a lot of very heavy and awkward furniture, along with many many sets of stairs and tight spaces!! Juan, Eddie and Edan went above and beyond, they were very professional and respectful of our space and items. Everything was protected and nothing was broken or damaged in the move. They took things apart and put them back together for us, and were very time efficient, (they knew I was on a budget) I didn’t feel like I needed to watch the clock the whole time.
