In their own words
We used Spartan Moving Systems for our home move. The team was friendly and cooperative. They showed up on time and finished within the time frame we were given. Nothing went missing. HOWEVER, THEY LEFT NUMEROUS SCRATCHES ON OUR FURNITURE (see example in first picture). I contacted the office and they sent someone to inspect. We showed them the scratches and we were asked if we were certain they did not preexist.
Years after they botched our move to Texas, Spartan has started spamming my phone for referrals. Time for a review, I guess. Spartan drastically underestimated the weight of our move, but had a minimum and a maximum they would charge for. After they weighed the load, they tried to charge for the full weight, well over the maximum charge on the contract. The also drastically underestimated the time it would take for packing, loading, and unloading, leading to very long days at both ends.
I used Spartan Movers in the past and all worked well, but today (12/19/20) they disappointed me greatly. The movers left the The Village Residence lobby door (at 545 San Antonio Rd, CA 94040) wide open and unattended 3 times during the …

In their own words
Movers arrived on time and worked efficiently to move our 2br/1ba across the city. They were careful when packing TVs and a couple other fragile things we couldn't get to ahead of time. One things to be aware of is their price for extra boxes and moving supplies is quite expensive (as was the case with most other moving services). So be sure to go out and get extra boxes and supplies ahead of time (bubble wrap, packing paper, picture boxes, etc).
We recently used Spartan Moving Systems for our move. We were recommended by a friend to use this company and were very happy we the service they provided. They had great communication and it was very easy to set up an appointment. During our move they were very efficient. We would definitely use this service again for any move.
Excellent work! Juan, Pablo, and Gabriel did a wonderful job; they were professional and efficient in moving us into our third-floor apartment (no stairs). Thank you for all your hard work!
Spartan moving provided an average move for our local (within San Jose move). Pros: They were ahead of schedule arriving at our apartment early. They didn't have a problem waiting 20 minutes while we wrapped up the final details. They moved quickly and were able to easily carry out pull out couch down a flight of stairs. Fairly priced compared to competitors and they respected our time throughout the whole process. Cons: The bottom of the couch endured some new scratches and scuffs along the bottom.
