Two Men and a Truck

Worst moving experience of my life! to keep a long story short they showed up an hour late, then proceeded to go missing with the truck full of all our possessions without saying a word. employees of this company also damaged and vandalized our property purposely. To top it all of they verbally harassed out new neighbours while they were leaving - yelling, honking horns and throwing garbage out of their truck... we made multiple complaints to the company manager and essentially no one ever got back to us.

We had issues with Two Men and a Truck, which started with the website number directing us to a number that wasn't connected after we entered a postal code. We then contacted by email, received a call back, gave an item list and addresses and were told we could be called back with a quote, there was no callback or email. We called back the number that had called us and they had forgotten to send a quote, as well as forgot the list of items and locations we had already provided.

The moving guys were wonderful and everything went smoothly, but only two stars because the cost was much, much more than we expected. We received a quote and clarified in writing with the mgr that since the quote was based on time, that the more things we moved ourselves, the less time it would take and the cost could potentially come in less than the estimate. So we rented a storage unit and moved a bunch of boxes ourselves thinking the bill would come in lower than estimated. It didn't.

This is specifically towards the Midland move I had . Organized by Lenny... he was amazing he assured me that because of our car accident and different injuries that his folks would come in and do everything we needed and clear the house out. The issue was not with the owner's son nor one of the employees they were polite fantastic and helpful the issue however was with Bill as soon as he came in was complaining we had everything packed in boxes and bags there was a few things that I haven't been able to get at…

We had a crew from Mississauga. No problem with 2 young men. "Head guy" arranged the truck. We have many scratched and gouged furniture including big screen TV scratched on frame and screen. Crew chief claimed that it was put between mattresses. Mattresses were in middle of truck and TV loaded at end of truck. I watched a box fall when unloading. Discovered that it was my set of corning casseroles. Many calls exchanged with the office produced no results. I Also head guy asked if I had any packing tape.

I'm so disappointed, I was in tears. They initially arrived and were courteous and gentlemen. They worked hard at the move and were always smiling. At one point in the day I looked out the window and saw one of them putting my chaise lounge into the truck without having wrapped it and kicking it into place. I was devastated., but ignored it. After the fact, it all sat there for a couple of weeks while I unpacked and put everything into place. Then I discovered the wide spread damage.

Edit: They have no record of me using their services because like I said in my review, I never used their services I said a family member and my landlord did, lol. Because one of their employees tried entering my home without permission, and attempted to literally menace me lol. Clown show company, accusing my review of being fake is extremely immature. Jan 2024 one of their movers tried to fight me, I didn't even call them to my place or anything lol.

Used these guys before, with Teresa, for clients and they were great! Easy, peasy. Second time not so much. I was dealing with Jacob. All I needed was my house moved from one location to another. Same town. 3 bedroom house. No big deal. He insistsed I fill out a item sheet. Do you know every item in your house? Do you have the time to go through them all? I do not. I have small kids, a 100 hour a week job and no time. I asked, politely, if I could skip this step as it would take a considerable amount of time.
