Picking up my trailer on 06/04/2023 was a easy experience, but returning the trailer on 06/06/2023 was absurd. I was up until almost 4am finishing moving the night before and unfortunately slept through my alarm clock. I woke up 10min after the return time and immediately called U-Haul customer service and apologized and let them know I was running a little late, to which they said it would be fine. I rushed out the door and arrived at the location about 1hr and 15min after my return time.
Please make sure you actually check the fuel level before leaving the lot. Mine was only half full, took a picture. When I returned it I made sure tank was full so they wouldn’t give me crap. Showed them the date and time stamped picture of the tank when I got the truck. Said there was nothing they could do and to call their general manager JD Reardon. So I did call him. 1st off the guy is rude. 2nd he took my info and said he’d get back to me. Do you think he ever did? I’ll never use this store again.
I wish to God I could leave a negative review total unprofessionalism from one employee unfortunately, the lady at the counter was a sweetheart, but the gentleman with the beard and the mail Manhattan should not be in customer service when inspecting my vehicle decided it would be a good idea to laugh at me Because of the hitch I had on my vehicle and decided to use profanity towards me and ask if I had a hell of a big hitch..

U haul is ridiculous they should disclose info if they refuse to rent to an individual. I know that businesses can refuse anyone but usually the individual knows why. Uhaul gives an 800 number that doesn't give any info.

Horrible customer service. I rented a truck and trailer for 20 hours and I got charged for 48hs. That’s an extra $158. Bunch of low class people.

Everything went smoothly. Alex was the U-haul person that assisted with my rental. He was patient and willing to help me with getting a van for rental for 1, possibly two days, of which I did. Alex has a great spirit and makes the rental process very easy. I saw him upon returning the vehicle on second day as well, and was very helpful returning and inspecting vehicle. Alex made me feel like the most important person while booking the reservation and returning vehicle as well.
Had reserved a 10 ft truck w appliance dolly. Uhaul called to tell me that the 10 ft truck doesn't have a loading ramp. Truck was great and fit everything we needed to move. Very grateful, thank you!
